Has there been any official confirmation if the Steam edition will have Steam Achievements?

Not sure as of yet, i really hope there will be though! 
I sure hope so and trading cards so I can have a dinosaur badge.
Oh, I'm sure we will. Very few games don't have them these days.
I certainly hope that they add them - they did for Planet Coaster.

The Xbox and Ps4 Version should have achievements so I can't see why Steam wouldn't as well.
Sadly, many games on steam do not have achievements where with console version does. e.g. all of the Assassins Creed series (except for Origins)
I'm not sure that you're on the same page. It is definitely going to be released on steam. This has been confirmed and is not debated.
It won't be released as 'Early Access' so i'm not sure why you mentioned this?

Not every game which is released on steam has steam achievements and Jurassic World Evolution will not be realased as early access - it will go straight to release.

I know. But most Early Access games today have Steam achievements now, its more likely a fully released game will have it. The odds are defintely in our favor. Also Planet Coaster made by Frontier have Steam achievements.
Why do you keep mentioning Early Access? JWE won't have early access and early access has nothing to do with Steam Achievements.
Planet Coaster having Steam Achievements is definitely a point in our favour but don't forget that Elite Dangerous is also made be Frontier and that doesn't have Steam Achievements.

I had no idea. I don't use steam so I just assumed it would be the same. That is good to know.
Because I'm making a point. That is why I'm mentioning EA. Don't forget that Elite Dangerous is totally different genre and with multiplayer. I'm certain that this game will have achievements.
I've 27 game currently installed from Steam. 25 of 27 do have achievements. Those two games that doesn't have achievements on my list came before achievements was a thing, which means they are more than 10 years old. I would be really surprised if this game doens't have achievements. When their previous park game had it, and it's very typical for building like this one having achievements.

I don't really care about steam achievements or trophies. I get them occasionally in my other games and I simply don't care. I don't think I have ever looked at them actually, if you can see your own achievements. This just shows how little I care. It wasn't an issue when I preordered the digital deluxe edition back on March 29th.
27 games isn't much of a sample. I'm guessing you've just bought the major titles that you're interested in?
I've got 459 games in my library, 266 have achievements.
