Mosasaurus enclosure ?

I didn't count on her appearance until I saw the importance she has in the last trailer.
One of the developers, Bo Marit, said on twitter that they had only focused on land animals, but the Mosasaurus is very important in the saga.
Is there a possibility that she appears in the base game, even if only on Nublar Island? Keep in mind that in the first trailer of the game appears the Mosasaurus enclosure in the background.

Leave your opinion and inform if you know something about it, thank you :)

Maybe it will be one of the biggest Buildings you are able to place? It would make sense to me if you could the hole exhibit, since building an enclosure wouldn't make sense to me.

By the way, the Mosasaurus enclosure is not in the first trailer, I always wondered why people were saying that. That's the ocean in the background, have a second look at the trailer.

Indeed, the stadium is the T. Rex Kingdom stadium paddock.

Aaah true, the Rex Kingdom...I havent thought about it.
If they have not shown anything relevant, it is very unlikely that it will appear then ...

:(
It would have been great to be able to see that beast move underwater

They already said no flying or aquatic do I doubt they would include it. There is nothing to suggest it will be. We haven't even seen a peek of one.

Of course, that's what worries me, the lack of information. Even so it is logical that they do not show everything they have to offer.
But thinking about it, is likely to appear, considering its importance in the saga that inspires the video game.

Did you read what Andrew2018 posted? The devs have said that there won't be flying or aquatic creatures in the game; that means it is not likely to appear.

No Mosasaurus or aviaries with flying Dinosaurs is a real disappointment considering they play big parts in the film the game is supposed to be based on.

We just have to keep requesting for aquatic and flying creatures, then, maybe, in the future, we might have them.

I still think they will be added into the game in the future, especially if there is a lot of demand for them. I want to add Compsognathus too, I know they said no small dinosaurs, but you’ve gotta make an exception for them. I do wonder how they would be contained in a paddock though.

I honestly would be surprised if there isn't. Remember they were on a fine crunch to get the game out. I bet there will be a dlc within a year.

Unless they radically re-design the maps I'm not sure how massive marine exhibits would even work. I could see some big pre-built structure perhaps. But a custom built lagoon like in JW seems like it would take a whole lot of work to implement

Isla Tacaño would be a good location to introduce constructing marine exhibits, it has a huge lagoon located within the island’s playable section.

I am not real fond of the Mososaurus cause to me it was one of the more cheesy aspects of the movie I didn't care for. Though I would probably put one in a park just to see what it looked like. Having some Pterosaurs, Pteranodons and Pteradactyls would be nice cause I believe one them was featured in the novel and I really like the novels. Having a huge bird cage for them would be cool.

But It's not a deal breaker for me.

I understand your point of view very well. After all, it's about subjective opinions about what we liked most (first saga, books or new saga).
Still, although the Jurassic World movie did not seem the best in the saga for me, I recognize that the mosasaurus is very important in the Jurassic World saga.
Considering that JWE is syrongly inspired by this saga, would not it make sense to incoporate it ?

It would make perfect sense, same goes with the Pteranodon. My theory is, eventually they will bring out a marine DLC and flying DLC.

It's probably not included at launch simply because it's a lot of work to do for launch, and Frontier would have to choose between delaying the game or Mosasaurus not being there at launch. To have Mosasaurus means to also have its enclosure, feeding mechanics, and a bunch of other stuff for just one animal, and I feel like they would want to include other marine reptiles so it's not just Mosasaurus, and that's more work to add in. Mosasaurus is also gargantuan, much larger than a true Mosasaurus. It and its enclosure would take so much space, and it would all be dedicated to one animal. Could its enclosure be damaged? Could Mosasaurus escape? How would we the players be able to solve the situation? If not, what does Mosasaurus offer gameplay wise?

Also, personally, I don't find Mosasaurus to be that important. Objectively speaking, it was very important, but in terms of what it has contributed to the franchise, it stayed in the background most of the time and the only point it added to the story was when it ate Indominus, which had played a far greater role than Mosasaurus.

But even so, while it may have played a role in the movies, we have to think how practical having Mosasaurus would be in JWE. We gotta think about this from the game development standpoint. Just because it was in the movie, doesn't mean it will fit right in the game. And that's not to say it can't and won't come at a later date. I'd like that, but we must take into factor all that goes into it, because what I've mentioned only scratches the surface.
