If someone from Fdev streams themselves unlocking all the Guardian tech. I will eat my eye patch.

That's your opinion and it's wrong

But your opinions are correct? I think I see your problem Stigbob, discussions with you are utterly pointless and a waste of time, much like the Guardian grind is actually. Have a great day!

Back on topic, I do hope someone from Frontier will at least address this. Even if none of the devs take up the challenge, it would be nice to have the issue acknowledged. I know Brett posted here but he was just being playful, Frontier has yet to talk about the matter at all.

Let's face the main problem: Even if FD will agree, they can not develop new gameplay, to gather the blueprints, over night and also not within some days.

So what's the actual number of repititions and how long does it take to unlock them?
Was it changed recently?

You need to do a Module site 16 times and a Weapon Site about 40 times, I did a quick count on INARA.
As to if it was changed recently, i dont know.

No my opinions are my opinions, any other interpretation only exists inside your head.

Way too much dev bashing they won't touch it IMO (this is an opinion I have flagged as an example I won't do this with every post).

See why im an advocate of the ignore feature of this forum. He can throw what ever temper tantrum because hes never wrong.

Why do you think this topic keeps coming up again and again?

To be fair, the modules are not compulsory as there are alternatives, just highly wanted (I want them too).

As to the grind, well that is compulsory if you want to get the guardian modules. Yes it can be mitigated by not getting them quickly, but in my case by the time I have got one item I doubt that the Thargoids will be a threat anymore.

I bet the Thargoids are laughing themselves silly looking at our way of weapons development.

People like moaning, people prone to grinding really like moaning.

Why would I have a tantrum ?.

I don't do grind, I'm happy with the game and I laugh at all the personal stuff people use in lieu of a rational argument.

Indeed. Just introduce new items, add a bunch of lore behind them, make it available at selected, lore-related, stations and leave it at that.

I like your way of thinking.
Some effort to get the new modules wouldn't be a problem imho but this abomination is way out of place.

And it doesn't make sense to get the blueprints in more attempts while doing other things meanwhile. Otherwise you need to travel severeal times from the bubble to the structures (about 800 LY oneway) and back and change the ship somewhere in the bubble for the other things. Sure, it is possible to do that, but time consuming.

To be fair, in contrast to the other repetitive game mechanics, the repetitive gameplay for obtaining the blueprints is exactly predictable how often you have to do it. So you have at least a fixed target in front of you.

Agreed. Think I have mentioned in this thread that a good chained mission style quest for each blueprint would be enough for that item. I would have all the modules in the tech broker like that. You need to do a PG chained mission to get a specialised component, then the rest can be as they are, normal materials that you pick up.

Then I can call it a personal narrative that I can engage in when I want to.

But then FD wouldn’t have added their fun (that isn’t actually fun) gameplay requirements to get the weapons and they seem to be relying on boring, repetitive ‘content’.

IMO the new guardian content is really good. The new mission is really enjoyable, especially in coop.

However upon completing the new ram tah mission it is quite possible not to have the stuff for a single module. How silly is that ?

Upon finishing the mission I got 6 weapon blueprint fragment and a single module one. That is doing it as it comes, no relog/grind B.S.

What you're suggesting would be very very nice, I'd dive into it the moment it was released.
I see playing games purely as a way to have fun, nothing else, if certain elements of a game, any game, is killing the fun then I won't even go near it.
I can't play 24/7 so my game time is precious to me, this lackluster abomination that's called the Guardian tech narative is far from being fun and a complete waste of my game time.
What did Sandro say again? "We don't want to waste your time",.........right.
