Newcomer / Intro still wanted after paying fines the wanted status

Hello commanders


I become wanted, so I go to station with interstellar factors to pay my fines ,after paying the fines, still wanted in the same system,

I still have bounties to redeem that is the only one left in interstellar factors contact station, can anyone tell me how to fix this, thanks


also I have this
(if you have zero Notoriety, interstellar factor will allow you to pay any current bounties or fines on your current ship)

Fines don’t cause a wanted status, only bounties do. You must pay off all bounties, while in the same ship you used to commit the crime.

I am having the same problem cannot get rid of the bounty even though I initially paid it, I am still wanted holding bounties in our system and wherever I try to pay it off at all the interstellar factors it now shows in red and no option to pay

You still have notoriety?
How long since you committed murder?

Check your notoriety level under crimes in right holo panel.

I figure it out you need to be in the game at least an hour to get the notoriety to become 0, as I did this morning

Yes tried both in system and 2 out of system including planetary landing attached to another in system. will not allow me to pay it off. It shows up in red with no other option.

Notoriety killing a good guy is always attached to the player with a timer waiting to expire to finally pay it off. Bounties are always attached to the ship and they have to be flown to an IF to clear them. Another ship will not work. Changing ships gets a lot more complicated and makes your situation worse with hot modules costing a fortune to clear them. Always have a FSD jump range to leave a wanted system to find an IF. If in a large ship better to have a local IF already bookmarked with a large landing pad. Welcome to Crime and Punishment. A player can still kill as desired but needs to prepare options to deal with the new C&P system. Ignoring it will eventually have you attacked by very efficient ATR ships on your next criminal activity. Your best Corvette combat build will not always survive.

I am in the same ship it is now over 2 hours since it happened I have a notoriety of 0 and still unable to pay the bounty off at any IF. I have paid them off in the past with no problem and understand the system. It is not working. I welcome the new crime and punishment but only when it works as it should. The problem I have is however, I cannot pay the bounty off as I want to.

Yes your issue is obviously different to OPs.
If it is as you say (and you seem to be familiar with the process), then you need to raise a ticket and a bug report. Unless there is something we are missing?

I have read that logging off the game and then going back in works, otherwise I second the support suggestion.
