I dunked on a wing of four plus one independent last night. I was in a Gunship, but judging from how quickly I wrecked them they could be forgiven for mistaking me for a Corvette.
Just when I think there's hope that you'll pulled out of your nosedive you post this. You have no idea what the circumstances were, could have been a powerplay thing giving the encounter legal legitimacy. Even if it was random murder, you've got no business labeling people "antisocial psychopaths." Further, why not give advice on solving gameplay issues by actually playing the game? Leaping to the block button is a crutch for people who don't want to learn how to play.

Block the player, go in another mode if you don't feel like encountering other CMDRs.
Both are perfectly fine alternatives. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
The block button is a crutch for players to avoid having to encounter those they would rather not. Some who are subject to ing contests may scoff, but who cares. It's your game. Play however you like.
