You're all fooooolls, there's no weather in space apart from the sudden temp change if your canopy blows out. you exist in optimised cabins.
anyone claiming inclement conditions is ruining my immersion
(live in a goldilocks zone myself, not too cold not too hot, yay NZ)
Didn't work for me. Alt+[Num]5 gives me "♣". That's a new one on me. ☺ ☻Try Right Alt+5 and then press "C" the degree symbol doesn't show up until you press another key.
I love spring and summer! Being Swedish I'm used to cold darkness for about 8 months a year, so when late spring finally arrives I barely stay indoors. Winter makes me depressed.
being depressed for 8 month must really sock....
Out of those 8 months of cold and dark, maybe 4-5 months are depressing, fortunately lol.But yeah, a lot of people here in Sweden takes anti-depressing medicine. A few has to go so far they need artificial sunlight once or twice every week.
Yes the gray sky is a problem
Nothing can replace a deep blue sky and a bright sun
That’s the most common complaint I’ve heard from Australians, living in the UK.
The lack of blue sky.
I spent a year and a half in OZ. And the constant blue sky, freaked me out.![]()
They need the clear skies in Oz to give excellent visibility so as to watch-out for waiting drop-bears.
(... and spiders, brownies, taipans, Mulgas, tigers, etc... basically anything!)

Rincewind encounters drop bears, spiders, kangaroos (pretty much every dangerous life form) in "The Last Continent". When Death asks for a book on the dangerous creatures of the continent of Fourecks he gets buried under an avalanche of printed matter (once he gets out from under the pile he picked up one of the volumes, which is entitled "Dangerous Mammals, Reptiles, Amphibians, Birds, Fish, Jellyfish, Insects, Spiders, Crustaceans, Grasses, Trees, Mosses and Lichens of Terror Incognita", Volume 29c, part 3. He then asks for a list of the HARMLESS creatures, and after a while a sheet of paper drifts down. On it is written "Some of the Sheep").They need the clear skies in Oz to give excellent visibility so as to watch-out for waiting drop-bears.
