I always considered the attraction to colourful cartoon characters (be it Hasbro, Disney, Sony, Ghibli...) to be great for mental health. You should try it. (Not necessarily ponies, of course - there are much more mature cartoons out there. (And no I don't mean THAT way))

If I ever, I mean EVER in my life on these forums, I happen to change my avatar to a cartoon that is unrelated to E: D, I encourage any and all mods on here to give me a lifetime ban.

Yeah I been through the "Manga" phase in my life and I managed to grow out of it. I am not sure if it influenced my mental health in any way.

As for the cartoons/poni - I'll never grow out of loving cartoons. Hell, I have two cartoon tattoos (no, they're not even pone).

Yeah, I'm a bit crazy, but it's not because of the toons. :D Besides MLP is a good show. Don't knock it until you've tried it. ;)

Or, hell...go ahead and knock it. I like it and that's good enough for me. At any rate, TJ is rocking Derpy today and that's awesome. :D
