... the whole game has always been handicapped to keep everything equal between solo and open, don't you think it is fair that just one feature which is pvp focus can exist only in open and finally enhance the gameplay?


The game really needs some core change to stop being so shallow and this could prove to be a major improvement to ED depth.


Also, you can still join open and participate in PowerPlay if you want, so you are not blocked of nothing.


PS: Its almost 2020, stop using slow internet as a reason.

Nono. Lets continue to limit every player's abilites to that of a Solo casual PvE player. Or at least make all those abilites completely useless, like it is done now.

yeah sure, but crippling PP by allowing it in Solo/private is really daft.

how are you able to stop Cmdrs that 5th collum your faction.. or being able to counter underminers and fortifyers if they all are in solo...
powerplay in Solo/private is like playing a board game with everyone else, but you have your own board. its silly!

Are you serious? Not everyone has a choice of their ISP, and for a lot (like myself actually) their only ISP option is poor at best.

Its FAIR if Frontier then offer an equal feature for PVE players available ONLY in Solo/Private Group NOT Open isn't it...
After all we all paid the same for the game didn't we?
(Oh make that TWO features actually...I'd forgotten about CQC...regardless of how unpopular it it is its a major development that's PvP ONLY/Multiplayer ONLY)

If you have a bad connection, you are not in conditions of doing pvp, so it doesn't make sense you want to powerplay.

You can also just fix/get a better ISP also.

Don't use Xbox live or PSN as a excuse. That has no bearing on the situation. People will pay the subscription if they want to play online. That has nothing to do with Frontier's decision.

Not everyone CAN fix their poor ISP issues. The entire world isn't gifted with easily accessible super fast ISP's. If they could get better speeds they would. Understand?

Stop using console as a scapegoat. On every game with a multiplayer mode the subscription is needed to use that mode. They arent locking anything away behind squat.

As an xbox player myself, xbox live isn't an issue for anyone i know or play with.
If you dont like the subscription service take it up with microsoft and sony. Lets not gimp powerplay, the pvp aspect of elite.

Its like saying crucible in destiny or conquest in battlefield should be available to solo players. Give me a break.
