¿In which year is located Jurassic World Evolution?

Well, since a few weeks ago we knew that Dr. Henry Wu and Claire Dearing will be in the game (who knows which actor will join the cast) but then in what year this game is based after on the events of Jurassic World 2015, Or is it as if the park never existed and we have to build ?

I see that Claire has the same hairstyle as in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, so if it means that what happens in JWE is located after JW2015, now she is a foundress of the Dinosaur Protect Group and we have to respect the life of our dinosaurs?

- 1: Now, there will be comments from her when we have to create the Indominus Rex?
- 2: on what timeline are these events?
- 3: Each island is a different time ?, I read that somewhere but I'm not sure

I think the different time line thing seems like a misinterpretation.

Cos since you can go back to different islands with new unlocks, that's just gonna seem. "Right off I go back to 1998 to add my Indominus vRex to the park"

I think it will be attempt #3 at a park set between JW and FK. I think they said it's "soft cannon" so while it relies on the film's and follows the timeline, it's also largely separate from the films.

Isla Nublar I reckon won't be 1993 JP like people think, but I do think it will have the ruins of JP and JW to build around and possibly some dinosaurs roaming free. Got a feeling the big secret will be Rexy alive and well.

That makes no sense at all. Cause the game takes place right after the JW incident with the Indo-Rex. So why would they have you go to Isla Nublar just to build JW? You just spent a whole game doing that across 5 islands. Why make players do it again? Why make then unlock Isla Nublar so they can repeat everything they just did on 5 other islands? It takes getting a 5 star rating on each island/park to unlock Nublar. There is no way they would have players grind that hard to just unlock Nublar so they can just build JW on another island after they spent 95% of the game doing that.

The game obviously takes place after JW got destroyed by the Indo-Rex. Obviously it's not sticking that close to the current movies story cause Clair says she supports what is going on which I believe is not what her character thinks in JWFK.

Because Isla Nublar is the sandbox mode. Seems a common bit of speculation and it makes more sense than the different time zones theory.

The other 5 aspects have different missions relating to different aspects of the game building up to Nublar where it's go ahead, you've unlocked everything. Rebuild Jurassic World.

And lose the attitude.

Thanks for clarifying. It was my understanding too, even though I found some of the devs comments about it quite confusing and/or misleading, though that was probably not intentional on their part. I'm curious what surprises Nublar will hold for us. We'll see. I'm still kinda annoyed by the fact that I won't be able to play it until June 16th...[knocked out] Everybody will know about it before I do and I will avoid this forum like the plague during launch [big grin]

People took the fact that each island takes place in a different time of day to be the fact they are set in different years. I also believe a dev made a comment that was pretty cryptic and people went with it.

But then again by confirming that Isla Nublar will be a sandbox island they just might want to distract us from the thought that there might be more on Nublar than "just sandbox". Just speculation though ;) I'm convinced there will be more to come with Isla Nublar and we'll find out once we will be playing the game! If not i'll be happy either way :)
