Gore DLC?

Hey, i just wanna give an idea out, for maybe you make DLC?, it would be really cool if we see our dinosaurs shred each other, blood just spilling out from a wound, limbs ripped of by a T-rex, visitors that gets ripped apart from two raptors, one pulling from the arm and one pulling from the leg, the DILOPHOSAURUS acid spit, maybe can melt your face?

When the dinosaurs are fighting each other, maybe add some blood in it when they get a hit in, you feel me?
I know i would pay to have that DLC, its just a suggestion tho :p.[up][up]

This....probably won't ever exist as a DLC for JWE lol.

Too graphic. It would result in the game's rating being changed entirely for a small cosmetic DLC. A lot of work would have to go into it too. Frontier would probably lose quite a bit in sales because its so graphic.

A little blood when dinosaurs fight would be okay though lol.

Universal Studio will never let it happen I know Frontier would if they had free run on the game but sadly the final say is Universal's and they will say no.

Doubt it'll happen. The lack of blood and gore in-game is likely a requirement by Universal who want the game to appeal to the largest demographic. Even if Frontier wanted such features I doubt Universal would allow them to implement it.

Do people really care about ratings? in gta 5, there are tons of little kids that play it, they can run people over and there is a mission to torture someone by pulling there teeth out, and even busting there knee caps. :/

There's plenty of blood and gore in the movies, especially in JW. No one is asking for slasher movie levels of blood [big grin]

I'm also wondering if an optional, paid DLC will actually affect the rating of a game. Shouldn't the DLC be rated separately? I'm not saying that's how it is, I just think it would be the logical thing.

I'm not against a blood/gore dlc, because it's on my wishlist but not in such graphic way as in the OP.

I have no idea if dlc influences the main game's ratings, I don't think it will because Creative Assembly did it with Total war Rome II.

Or any TW game. I used the same example in one of the other threads come to think of it. If optional DLC doesn't affect the rating (I'm not saying ot does/doesn't) then it makes no sense to not allow it. But if there won't be any DLC for it I'm sure there will be a mod. Whether that'll be any good remains to be seen.

I'm glad there's no gore, although a bit of blood wouldn't hurt. Even JPOG had that. Also, the sounds of a struggling goat in JPOG still shows up in many of my nightmares! But overall, this is a game I want to play with my kids, and they are still quite young. We try to keep them away from the Tarantino-level violence OP described, lol.

People forget that there are many countries that are much stricter with the rules and regulations. China is one that comes instantly to mind
