Replay value is something I am concern with looking at this game. Sandbox mode should have the option to turn off unlimited money and start from scratch and work your way up to five stars. I know island editor was never implemented, but later on can be added heck even take our money from adding it, being a DLC. The game needs to have more than a campaign and a sandbox mode in my opinion. Due to the fact the only way to work your way up from the bottom is the restart the campaign over and over. while having to listen to the voice overs, over and over. This is a tycoon style game. please implement tycoon style features within the game. Also with future DLC with more dinos what is expected? just add more dinos for peoples sandbox mode with unlimited money? pretty worthless. more islands need to be made into the game. Wondering about hardware specs because alot was focused on graphics.... and not the replay value that id of liked to see more of. -- A player who still plays Jurassic Park Operation Genesis even till today due to the replay value that it has.

Just pick one of the five islands and play that. You have limited money and park management.
Sim games almost always have extremely high replay value. I still replay JPOG a lot, even though it's pretty dated. I have a feeling I'll be playing JWE for a very, very, very long time.
I hate that excuse. So the people that hate sandbox mode aren't able to have the fun of playing on the original island we just want the option to start with money rather than have everything free.

I expect the same. I'm gonna have a lot of fun with it for a very long time. Also games these days age way better. You can still play games from last gen and they look really good, even though they're 10 years old. JPOG already looked dated 3 or 4 years after launch, if not even earlier than that.

If you have money restrictions then it's not really sandbox anymore. It's main campaign/story mode without the missions.

That is fine, but people who hate Sandbox modes (I can't even describe how boring I find them, they are so pointless in my opinion) should be able to at least have the OPTION to turn it on so we can enjoy Nublar as well.
I'll play this game till the novelty wears off which won't be anytime soon I'm exited to see how this game is going to grow and what the future holds for it DLC wise as for the sandbox mode on Isla Nublar I think it will hold up well in replaying and rebuilding different styled parks.

Everywhere I look other players are making the excuse just play the five islands, but if you play the five islands 20 times or 30 times I'm looking at another island that is bigger and the opportunity to add play time just by basically resetting the game back to nothing with a limited budget. work from the bottom up on nublar, JP wasn't built in a day...
this is why i made this thread, if u think about the long run this is where im trying to hint at... i plan on playing this as much as JPOG but i did so much from starting from scratch on there that a sandbox mode feels like something cool on paper and some players will enjoy but what about those that dont like having it handed to us on a silver platter.

Patience is a virtue, I'm sure there will be dlc in the future with more dinosaurs and possibly also aquatic and avian ones.

Who said anything about more dinos? They did very well with 42? Is tht right. Im saying Replay value. And u might like multiple play throughs over and over the same voice over and over. But im saying a challenge mode as others have called it for nublar where we can not start with unlimited money or anything and build from the bottom up on nublar and not on the 5 islands. Once the campaign is done im done. I beat it on the hardest difficulty and im done i cant listen to the same voice overs it will drive me insane
Only thing said is how are they gonna introduce the new dinos in the future? Without another island or a way to feel in depth with the dino. If they introduce it to just the sandbox mode why buy it?

I will not begrudge anyone their sandbox mode. I undoubtably will enjoy sandbox, and I am glad for its inclusion; however, it's not the mode that I want. I want a free style play mode. Not campaign limited. Not island limited. Not day/dusk/night limited. I want to research it all from scratch (or whatever I unlocked in the campaign). I want to build my star rating through hard work and perseverance. I want to make the original Jurassic Park by sending out dig teams, directing my research, and building my rapport with my customers.
Sandbox has a place, and it's a wonderful inclusion. The campaign has a place, and I'm excited for it's narrative. Free style should also have it's place in my opinion, and I hope it's included eventually.
