Not really sure what you mean, but if you have a laptop your problem is fixed.
If you own a game on your Xbox you can play it on your computer. I don't know how it works. But I did look into it. Kind of like how you could play some PS3 games and PS4 games on the Vita, at least that's how I imagine it would work except with a laptop.
The Xbox Play Anywhere feature is a GREAT thing, and Sea of Thieves has been amazing on it (as well as others).

Purchase game digitally on Xbox OR Win 10 PC (through the microsoft store
You then own the game on both platforms
Game saves are stored in the cloud so you can finish playing on your Xbox, and move to your PC and continue your game there (or vice versa)
Play Anywhere titles are *often* also cross play between xbox and PC
I think you are the only person in the world to sa Sea of Thieves is amazing that game pretty much single handledy made me give up on my XBox one and buy a ps4 pro.
This was asked on reddit a few weeks ago and according to the devs this game does not support the play anywhere feature. If you want to play on different devices you will have to buy separate copies of the game.

It's not for everybody, I'll give it that, but it certainly is for me 
This will not be available in the Microsoft store on PC, the PC version is on steam, that also makes it impossible to load any save games on the other platform.

i believe your one of the haters sot is a great game, i have had more memorable moments in that game then any other game in the past 5 years. weather they are good fun moments or angry moments from other players being frustrating.
and as for the play anywhere feature i think its a missed opportunity as its for the community. i have both Xbox and pc and i have a staggered game crew as in i have people on Xbox and people on pc. i cant afford to buy two copies of this game. the play anywhere aloud me to play Xbox to pc or the other way round. it also aloud me to play on what device i wanted. i think more companies need to hope on this as it only makes the game more playable.
