I love how the actors appreciate their fan base! And this seems to be genuine appreciation (also expressed on Twitter), which is nice to see in contrast to "Sad Affleck" and "Bored Evans".

Happy family here as well. We're Expanse fans as well. Watched it since first season came out and read first book, haven't gotten around to the second book yet, but will get there.

(Another great sci-fi show is Altered Carbon, just a tip)

I just discovered this series a couple of weeks ago on Netflix UK and I was hooked by the first episode. Great stuff, and surely a must for the discerning Elite player.

The Expanse made me start my Elite adventure. More books (have read them all and waiting for announced new one) than TV series since I don't really like plot changes done by directors. But on the other hand - I absolutely love casting efforts! These guys do fit perfectly to characters from the book!

So I'm really glad it will be continued.

Of all book-to-tv shows over the years, Expanse has been the one that impressed me most how close it was to the books though. There are changes, for sure, but since the authors (Abraham and Franck) are part of the script writing and are producers of the show, I trust their decisions for the changes.

Now, if we could get them to help Disney write Star Wars, maybe there would be some better movies from them as well? (Just saw Solo yesterday, it was meh. Like any generic sci-fi movie.)

Without the focus on the Force and the fantasy element of good vs evil the Star Wars universe is just a generic scifi universe.

Not surprising. I'm sure it happens often after an author has finished a book they wish they had changed some elements of the story.

I trust them, too. But I don't like them (the changes). I just think that simplifications were a bit too strong and that they took some of the depth away.
