Lack of dinosaur variety

He comes here makes a forum, and complains, than when people respond the way he doesn't like he gets all upset.

I know, it's hilarious. Like that guy that made that topic who wanted everyone to talk about how Carnotaurus was going to be in the game and not in JWFK DLC. Even thought it obviously wasn't in the game. LOL

I wonder where he is now? I bet he is not hiding in shame. LOL

No. BIS already talked about it and he has contact with Frontier. You coming here to make a thread about something that's not even a real issue is whining.

I don't know if thats technically true. You've literally admitted in previous threads that 'whining' has helped the game. C'mon man, don't be a player hater.

But guys, be honest with yourselves; the reason you both reply is that you're worried when anyone says anything negative about your precious game that you've never played.

Constructive criticism helps the game. Whining doesn't. Having 4 different types of ceratopsians isn't a major issue.

Like I said BIS already made it known and he has influence with Frontier. So coming here and making a thread about it is pointless whining. Also there is 7 days and 1 hour before the game is released. It's not like Frontier is going to start adding in new Dinosaurs now. They are probably still fixing up what they have now. You and the others will have to wait for DLC.

Yes but DLC.

Please define whining for me, I'm still a tad confused?

"stop whingeing and get on with it!"

and this

hahah Really, you think that is true? There is tons of things in the game that I don't agree with. I have not played the game yet so I have no reason to make a complaint. Any that I have had were already fixed or in the process of being fixed so there was nothing to even stress about. There are 42 dinosaurs in the game. Each one is Unique. I could have cared less if there were 42 different Hadrosaurs I would have been happy as long as I can see them moving around my park. In this day and age the base game is the skeleton of what you get, the rest of it comes along after and frontier has stated they will be keeping the same level of updates as PC and ED.
The difference of PCMR and I and yourself is, we see see the big picture and understand what is happening behind the scenes, you and others on the other hand are g out over every little detail.

You're essentially helping to prove my point my friend. The irony is real.

Real quick; don't lie. Without looking, explain to me the difference in appearance for Kentrosaurus, Chungkingosaurus, Huayangosaurus and Gigantspinosaurus.

Gigantspinosaurus has huge shoulder spikes - hence where it's name comes from. It is one of the most basal Stegosaurs, sometimes placed with in the family Huayangosauridae.
Chungkingosaurus & Huayangosaurus are both Huayangosauridae Stegosaurs. All three of these stegosaurs are from the same formation .

Kentrosaurus is from the Tenduguru Formation, approximately 4-5 meters long, in the same sub-family as Chialingosaurus. But a true member of the Stegosauridae family.

Hahahahahahhaha

I just imagined you imagining me sitting at my computer emitting a high-pitched complaining cry. Very amusing haha.

But still, I think my complaints are quite valid and expressed (originally at least) in a most civil and mature manner. So you are still yet to explain why when BIS says something its a valid criticism, but when I reiterate it here its suddenly whining. Think about that for more than two seconds and I'm sure you'll realise how non-sensical that it.

I want JP themed game assets. I thought Nublar would be the island where we would get to play a game version of the 1993 JP. But that didn't happen.

Do you see me making threads about it? No. I would say this is an even bigger issue than complaints about having Dinosaurs that look a tiny bit similar. Since a lot of people want the JP themed assets.

But I just wait patiently. Either to see if they are in the game as unlockable items or wait for the DLC so I can buy it. Plenty of people have asked for it, I know I did. It's well known so I don't see the point in making a thread about it.

I asked for a morphological comparison. Not a phylogenetic history. So far one has larger bi-lateral spines.

That's honestly great man and I'm happy for you. But that's like your opinion man and I won't try to talk you out of it. You and your mate Andrew love trying to dismiss criticisms as whining and that just ain't cool with me.

In terms of having similar species.

Yes - it not ideal to have so many similar species at the start of the game. However given the possible number of species which will be added in the future DLCs - some similar species was very likely going to happen anyway.

So basically it is good to just except that fact and move on.

I will give you a little slack then. Yes they are a bit valid. But there are differences between the Dinosaurs and they all don't look the same. It's an issue and people have talked about it since we found out we had three different ornithomimids in the game. Frontier obviously did it for a reason.

But again there isn't a need to make a thread about it harping on the same issue that has been covered already. They used similar Dinosaurs so they could all use the same animations and rigging. Obviously to cut down on how much work they had to do.

I agree. I'm still not a huge fan of this decision. However, as you say, it's not a huge deal.

Man I'm really trying to empahise with you as I've always found you to be a decent human being but it just isn't up to you to decide what people should and shouldn't post.

Criticism is something different than complaining that you have 42 dinosaurs and SOME of them look a bit similar. Lack of fountains, benches.. etc is criticism. what you are saying is sounding like a kid in the candy store not getting his way. As for telling the difference between, the Dinosaurs. I can do it perfectly fine and have no need to go into lengthy detail on here about my knowledge of different dinos, if you are interested I suggest checking out http://www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/dino-directory/name/a/gallery.html
