To people complainging about the AI

well they can't complain about AI now so need something new.
If these people didn't have anything to complain about, they would make something up.
Who Cares about packhunting? do you really need me to break it down what this is saying?
I care about packhunting. It has been a staple of the JP raptors for 25 years, not seeing it is very disappointing in my opinion.
The thing is that at least we are getting AI, ntohing is set in stone and they can improve on it in the future.
sorry mate but why are you looking for trouble? raptors not being able to hunt in packs is a big failure. how are games ever going to improve when people like you just take what your given? I'm a paying customer just like you and I have every right to express what I think of this product. if you're happy then good for you, enjoy what you're given but if the game was perfect there wouldn't be any need for a feedback thread
Why would I be looking for trouble? and what does that even mean?? Raptors hunting in packs in most likley something down the line that will be fixed. I assume you are new here so you might now have been arond in March. People complained about everything, and yet 90% of it was fixed withing a few months. Coding is not easy and like I have said before they have gone a route like Real Time Straties where it is turn based, that was their decisions, and is not going to be changed overnight.
I don't need a lecture off some nobody on a forum, i've been on the internet for a long time and im fed up with people who think they've being smart or clever by crawling up the devs backsides, im expressing my opinion of the game in its current state,not that cruddy dev build that had everything wrong with it but the most recent gameplay leaks and information direct from the devs, fact is they've spent so much time showcasing how good the dinosaurs look they didn't allocate enough project time to develop proper behaviours, they could have got away with it if they weren't so short sighted and made raptors too dumb to work together in a pack, you're right, it could be improved in the future but surely getting the most iconic dinosaurs from the movies working properly before release is a priority?
I think you need a break from the internet. You are obviously taking this too personal? maybe someone I blocked already on a different account? You do know they had 18 months to build this game? they were on a very strict deadline, with even stricter standards. There was some flaws in the Dev build, that was fixed and they even admited within days a lot of it was getting fixed. I seriously have no idea why you are getitng your panties in a bunch over raptors and don't care, the ignore button is always there if you don't want to see what I have to say.
Sadly i am worried. I really love the game and awaiting it... but the AMA and The Shown text here and the new videos are not helping to calm my fears. Till now my resume from Videos AND interviews is... There is an AI and the AI has a "complex" Decision Tree. Yes thats good... it just means that the dinosaurs react very individual and it will not be repetative. But sadly... thats it. Pack hunting and due to that Fights between more then 2 Dinosaurs are not in. In one interview they talked about diminisching returnes... so Velo A attacks spino and is eaten. Then Velo B attacks and gets eaten but spino is weaker and weaker.. Then Velo C kills Spino. Even in the AMA interview about Herding and socialisation... they didnt talked about herding as aherd... but as coming together and chat... THATS what wie already saw. The circle Struthis. But i expect more from Herding... Moving together... Eating grasing together. Even drinking together. Herding is the picture from the First movie After the Brachio reveal. And i dont think... it is to much to ask that. I am not even talking about herd defense or something...

He's not trying to be a troll, he just thinks that Frontier can do no wrong because the game has been rushed. That gives them SOME wiggle room for improvement but as it stands the game is relatively shallow on the dinosaur side of things.
Some of the gameplay videos do show some dinos of different species hearding together. And they videos released yesterday confirmed it as well.
I have never said Frontier could do know wrong. It has been obvious things were cut for time management. I am saying that people are losing their minds over features that will most likely be in the game after a few updates. Frontier isn't stupid and the do listen to their fans orherwise they would never have fixed the spinosaurus roar so fast.
Well you could look at it this way. Since they are going off of JP lore, this could be considered their first batch of dinos. The book goes more into detail about the different versions of them. Like say Trex version 2.3 or Apatosaurus version 3.1. Just pretend this is Velociraptor version 1.0. Maybe in time the devs will tweak their behavior in a patch “upgrading” them. It may sound like a silly excuse for what could/should have already been in the game, but it is what it is. Bringing a species back from extinction does have its challenges. That’s just how I’m going to view it. Just have fun with it or don’t. We won’t really know how things work until we actually play and see for ourselves.
No just because you want them pack hunting doesn't mean they screwed up. It means they had choices. You seem to forget this is a Park Management game this isn't a dinosaur fight game. And if you think amI am trolling you must not deal with trolls a lot because that is far from trolling.
Actually you have a point. The Raptors in captivity were much more vicious since they tasted humans. We have no idea what this patch will be like.
