Good question, have not seen this option in any of the gameplay video's.

I would assume that we can pause it, yes. There's no reason why we wouldn't be able to.

I hope we can pause the game. It looks like there is a lot to read about in the in game archives. I would hate to spend an hour reading the entries only to come back to find the park leveled, (that would be kind of funny, though).

Maybe the game automatically pauses the moment we go into the archives. I am so excited for all of it. It is all so interesting!
