Animal animation and behavior improvements?

Hello frontier! I am really looking forward to the release of Jurassic World Evolution! Few things I notice when watching other people get an early access to game. When the T-rex was battling the Ceratosaurs, I notice on the finishing blow the ceratosaurs jaw did not bit the neck of the T-rex. It looked like it was bitting just air instead of actually bitting the neck. I don't know if anyone else notice this but I noticed it. I hope this is improved on the smaller carnivores like ceratosaurs or metriacanthosaurs. After watching BestInSlot's recent video on the answered discussion, I am gonna have to agree with him. Dinosaurs do sleep. In JPOG, their was a meter indicating the amount of sleep it needs. That should be added in Jurassic World Evolution to. Raptors should pack hunt because in all of the Jurassic park movie's, you can see all the raptors communicating to take down a larger prey or human. Plus there should be more AI changes in term of behaviors. Some more unique animations for other dino's so that they don't look too identical from one another. Overall, still super excited about the game! I know frontier can address these issue and fix it to make this game the best dinosaur game ever! You can do it Frontier! I believe that you can address these issue and make this game the very best for everybody to enjoy :)

Brett C said the team is working on extensive in-game updates, including animations, but since he said they take time to be perfect, they will be inserted into the game in future updates.

I just hope they didn't rush the game because of Universal Studios. I'm pretty certain they will add many more animations, hopefully for free and of course aspects like sleeping and pack hunting.

Cool! I hope they are also working on herbivore's fleeing from a carnivore. I notice that in one of the videos, the deinonychus approach the water hole right next to a pentaceratops. The pentaceratops did not even flinch, react defensively, or flee.

They have already said that once they know that something is a threat/being attacked they will flee. there is a video of that exact animation happening.

I have no clue how to haha. This topic is important for frontier to look at in order to make this the best dino game out there. Which I believe they will do just that.

They have also stated yesterday or the day before they will be looking into all complaints after the game is released. They know all about the issues.

Can we just put all theses threads on one? There is like 3 of them made today.

I closed the other thread a while ago and linked to this one.
If you see any new threads with the same subject you can always use the "report the post" option, it helps us a lot. :)

Yeah will use the report option as well, I see so many of the same topics reappear. It's getting out of hand. Maybe we can have like a main (sticky) topic where all the different questions are answered by actual posts from FD? And off course make it a read only post. That way we can just refer people to that one topic.

We do have a Pre-Order FAQ in the support page (the "Frontier Support" link in my signature) it's basic but it can answer some questions.

Yeah I saw it but it doesn't go in detail unfortunately. And I doubt many people look at that before they create a forum post.
It was just an idea so that the forum doesn't clog up with all these duplicate post now that we are getting closer to release and off course after release.

I know and it's a good idea, but it would take a serious amount of work to cover everything or close to everything.

All Universal did was supply them with some stuff from the movies like Dinosaur models, sounds and probably music as well, probably some lore related stuff also. Since they are self funding and publishing the game Universal had nothing to do with the release date. I believe that was set by Frontier cause they want to ride the wave of hype with the movie.

People still wouldn't read it. I've been here since the beginning of this forum and no on reads before asking the same question 1000 times.

Reading is hard. It's easier to just ask and then wait for others to tell you. Reading too hard. Me ask people. lol

That is so true, I try to be nice, but after 6 times a day "why does ps4 say December" or "Why is xyz animation not fixed" it is hard to not get a bit at the end of your rope.
