Hybrids

  • Indominus Rex
  • Indoraptor
That's the two (and only) official ones, though I can't for one minute imagine these will be the only hybrids in the game, and I haven't seen JW:FK yet, so if there are more hybrids in that(?) lets remember the spoiler tags. In any case, short of a Stegceratops (at least the terribly obvious design of one) what other hybrids can you imagine will make their way to this game? Or more specifically, what would you like to see? Carnivores? Herbivores? Pterosaurs? Plesiosaurs?

Im not really bothered about hybrids, im old school. That being said though, I wouldn't throw a hissy fit, if there are more. I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of flying hybrid if there had to be another one. Maybe mixed with a Raptor, that would be kinda cool.

Uhm my 2cent, only have I-rex and I-raptor. Nothing else.
When JW came out I was kind of hesitant with the hybrids, I am not a big fan of it but the I-rex added something to the pack. It will probably be the same for the I-raptor so I am ok with both. However I do not want to see any other if possible. The Stegceratops looks ugly and I hope they don't add any others in. When I played the Jurassic World builder (phone app) I didn't like the whole conversion to Hybrids either, because I would have to sacrifice my regular dinosaurs to do so. I know that mechanic is not in JWE but still not a fan of them. They just end up too weird.

By realistic, I mean a hybrid that looked like the species could actually have lived in real life and not
just be some theme park monster. I actually like the Platypus, it's a cute species of mammal.

With a beaver tail, duck parts, and poison, it's not the best reflection of mammals. Even the poor Darwin doubted his theory of evolution because of this animal. XD

The Stegoceratops is also canon, it was going to be in the film alongside Indominus rex but was cut, but you can still see it on a computer screen that talks about future hybrids and one of the kids comments on it. I'd like it to be in the game at some point.

I honestly would not be surprised to see it in the game

Indominus Rex and Indoraptor will be fine for me. If we have more hybrids, it will be bonuses. I would prefer they focus on pterosaurs, aquatic creatures rather than hybrids for DLC.

The other hybrids that Dr. Wu was working on in the Hammond Creation Lab, Stegoceratops and the unidentified Pachycephalosaur and Therizinosaur hybrids, have a decent chance to be in the game through either free or paid DLC. Maybe even a couple of hybrids created by Frontier exclusively for JWE.

However I doubt there will be many hybrids, at the most I think they would make only 10 species. And I believe they will only be hybrid dinosaurs, and not pterosaurs or marine reptiles.

I'll only be using the I. rex and the Indoraptor. That being said, I wouldn't mind if they added other hybrids for the people who want them.

I wouldn't mind if they add more hybrids, as long as they're not weird ones, like Stegoceratops. But both the Indominus and Indoraptor serve the purpose of "weaponized hybrids". I'd prefer that, if they add more hybrids, they'd serve other purposes.

Hybrids in itself creates a purpose due to this is making genetically created monsters not just for weapons but also for entertainment value. Much like it is addressed in Jurassic World. Something that is amazing, thrilling and inspires the imagination. There are some awesome hybrids that are shown in Jurassic World: The Game and Jurassic World: Alive. I personally think the Stegoceratops, Spinoraptor, Carnoraptor, Giganocephalus, Pachyceratops and Ankylodocus would be excellent additions to JWE. There are others to be sure and of course for the hybrids to take place would need the primary dinosaurs that make them up to be present in the gameplay which makes a win win as it adds more dinosaurs and animals to enjoy. I would personally love more dinosaurs and hopefully the additions of smaller dinosaurs like the Compsognathus in an enclosed area much like a reptile exhibit in a zoo. Speaking of, it would be awesome to have Limnoscelis, Labyrinthodontia, Diplocaulus, Metriorhynchus, Sarcosuchus, Kaprosuchus and Nundasuchus. I also would enjoy having the pterosaurs, aquatic and cenozoic creatures as well.

But that's getting a little off topic. I think there is more than enough room to have these additions along with rides, attractions, buildings to add this all to the game. The third JW movie should come with additional DLC hopefully, but in the meantime as for hybrids I believe there is room for them in addition to the ones I have mentioned: Pelecanipteryx, Metriaphodon, Erliphosaurus, Priotrodon, Trykosaurus, Amargocephalus, Gigaspikasaur, Ankyntrosaurus and etc would be interetsting. You can find these for yourselves on Jurassic World: The Game and Jurassic World: Alive. There are others, but I believe these to be interesting if other hybrids would be considered into the game. Still there are plenty of dinosaurs of interest that has not made it into the game as of yet that I have high hopes that they will, like: Utahraptor, Nasutoceratops, Pelecanimimus, Supersaurus, Dimetrodon, Euoplocephalus, Ostafrikasaurus, Wuerhosaurus, Tyrannotitan, Suchomimus, Einiosaurus, Tuojiangosaurus, Iguanodon, Pachyrhinosaurus and Protoceratops.

I agree, the hybrids I'd like to see personally are Erliphosaurus, Carnoraptor, Spinoraptor, Stegoceratops, Metriaphodon, and Yudon. I feel as though Frontier will add them eventually, along side other highly requested species. I'd like to see Iguanodon, Pachyrhinosaurus, Protoceratops, and Nasutoceratops.
