PvP Has anyone put FSD Interrupt on a Grom Bomb?

Just wondering whether it adds anything. I actually asked Sandro the question when first introduced and the Loach replied, implying (kinda) that it would ... but tbh I haven't gotten around to testing and being lazy, I was wondering whether anyone else had?

Yuri Grom's Powerplay weapon, the Rocket Propelled FSD Disruptor: a dumbfire with the (worse) stats of a seeker missile, but which comes with baked-in FSD Interrupt special, iirc of longer duration than a regular dumbfire with FSD Interrupt special added to it.

That leaves the question: what happens if you add FSD Interrupt to the Grom Bomb's inherent FSD Interrupt? I asked Sandro this a long time ago and his response seemed to imply that it might be better (eg added duration). I was just wondering whether anyone had gotten around to trying it.

Last year, I had similar thoughts about Winter's pulse disruptor. I've still got 2-4 laying around, but I never use them because the dismal base stats make them difficult to effectively engineer. I only keep them in case they get a future buff. If it would have worked, I could have turned my iCourier into a harassing little... Yes, these are different animals, but it's same general idea. But hey, it worked out pretty well with OC'd and efficient Enforcers, so its worth the try, IMHO. The worst that can happen is you lose some mats and maybe 2 days testing.

My regular playtimes are about 2130 to 2330 UK, Sunday to Thursday. Might not be able to take part before then, but by all means add me, name as forum, no spaces. Sorry if the times don't fit with yours.

If I get the chance I'll put FSD Interrupt on a regular dumbfire for comparative purposes. I also have vanilla Grom Bombs ofc. Ideally it would be good to check all three possibilities (Grom with / Grom without / regular).

Should be free tomorrow night if that fits with you mate. I've got all the groms and non groms of all variations so I can fire them all at your chosen target and you can see what the results are from your end.

I think i've got you added already but will check now. I'm currently at SanTu but if ur at the CG then I'll fly over to you as wanted to get over there anyway.

Cool, I've been camping ALD HQ in my Federal Executioner Python (current personal best: Type 9, six seconds) but I have a 50 Ly jump range ship parked next door so can just meet wherever you like, o7

I've got everything at the CG now so do you want to meet me there? I'll be on most of the evening from about 7.30.
