I'm New Here - Is there really No Sandbox Mode...?

Nublar is a sandbox - even says it in game, if you played it.
A lot of people were complaining there was no limit on $$$ in the sandbox, but having played the game I'm less convinced they have a point - by the time you get near complete of any island you tend to have more money than you will ever use, so even if the initial $$$ were limited it would be pointless for the sandbox.
OTOH it was also said that Nublar would be very large, and it doesn't look that way to me. But I need to play through the other islands first, as I still have favourite dinosaurs I want to unlock

Anyone who's saying that is either being cheeky because they think Isla Nublar is too small, or they're outright misinformed. Nublar is definitely a sandbox.
No. There's no actual sandbox. Just a Creative mode, which is a massive shame for fans of actual management games.
