So, my thoughts on the game

Pros

Looks great
Good variety of dinosaurs
Behaviour is excellent
Disasters are great. Really tense
Good variety of missions
Juggling the 3 factions is fun
Goldblum is awesome
Just the right amount of challenge. Not so easy so it's boring but not so difficult that it's frustrating
Managing dinosaurs is good.
Good genetics to research
Combat rating is nice
Photography is cool

Cons

Guests look awful
Viewing galleries look empty
Lack of cosmetics - hasn't come into play yet cos been focusing on management. But I know it will when I go to Nublar sandbox.
Building placement is picky. So often I've tried placing things only to be obstructed by something like uneven terrain. I'd prefer buildings to auto level terrain, not huge mountains but gentle slopes and unevenness.
Terrain tools suck. Too limited and leveling ground doesn't work. I tried it earlier to make hotel space, used the flatten and level tool.... Half the area I wanted to level rose higher, half went lower. Just have the level one flatten it all to the same level
Guests are stupid... I've had them follow my Jeep into the Ceratosaurus pen.

The guests look fine to me. I have seen them looking at Dinosaurs, pointing at them, making sounds like they are enjoying themselves. I think they even take pictures of the Dinosaurs if they get near the fence. I think I saw them taking pictures of a Triceratops.

Other people on Reddit are whining about how the guests are mechanical and of course people there are shooting them down left and right but they still keep whining.

I find the way they move really weird. Like in synchronised blocks and they all look very samey.

Also they tend to just walk on past exhibits even if there's a Ceratosaurus right next to them. Maybe my path isn't close enough for them to register seeing it. Been keeping the paths a little away from the enclosures.

Tbf it's not a huge issue, I only really notice it when I hop in the Jeep.

I've caught them taking photos of Ceratosaurus and Huangyasaurus from the viewing galleries. (sure I've butched that spelling)

Another pro.

The dinosaurs feel different. My Dracorex is a picky little git, my Edmontosaurus quite relaxed and easy going, the raptors really aggressive, Ceratosaurus quite content etc.

Makes them all feel unique and different.

I love Dracorex. They're like angry little toddlers.

My Dracorex was losing it's *profanity buzzer* all the time, guess it didn't wanna play nice with the others lol kept escaping I got fed up and "accidentally" dropped it into the Ceratosaurus pen...Take that Dinosaur Protection Group

I'm still on the first island (4,5 star rating), but I have a pretty big enclosure with only Dracorex and Trikes. They are hitting it off very well and are flourishing together. Dracorex gave me trouble when I started breeding them as well, so I made a new enclosure with about 4 or 5 and then added 3 Trikes to give them some "population". They've been happy ever since.

Viewing galleries look empty

I see people in mine, and they're taking selfies, pointing etc. The galleries aren't crammed with people, but then you wouldn't be able to make out the reactions, so I'm not sure that would be better.
