Still no weather in sandbox

What do you mean "still"? Calm yourself, boy. If they didn't fix it with the latest patch, they will fix it eventually in a future patch, if they see a lot of people commenting it. Don't expect everything to be fixed/covered when just one patch has been released. Relax and enjoy the game, dude.

Do not come at me with a condescending comment... I was not disrespecting anyone when I said “still” I just wanted to make hem aware that is is STILL not fixed thanks..

Like a million and one other things...

Its also difficult to relax whilst playing this game, when there’s so much wrong with it

I use Nublar almost exclusively as a photo op island, so I'm patiently waiting for the weather to be fixed so I can take some real moody and dramatic shots. Soooooon! [I hope!]

I might load up a save and go and see if I have weather issues. I haven't been on Nublar yet though I have it unlocked.

The only weather I’ve seen on Nublar is the twister, so heavy weather. Usually I just prefer the rain setting, but I haven’t seen any plain rain.

I haven’t even seen a twister in my Nublar Map, I know people say it will change and things will get sorted, but an actual responce with some form of explanation would be nice, if we can’t even get that? Why should anyone expect anything more?

And people say we’ll planet foster had x, y, z done to it on 2 week intervals, so hopefully we see that here, tbh I’m not going to hold my breath for anything, if the devs don’t start answering some questions and start some kind of PR.. cos atm it just feels like all of her carolled into thread a, b, c... and it’s just either a shouting match between team settler (those who think the game is the bees knees, the cream of the crop, nothing can be better) and team seeker (those who compair the game to games similar to it a dream of the full potential that this game could easily with some TLC from the devs obtain) unfortunately these two teams or factions will constantly fight, until we have clear consise information on what fixes are planned etc etc...

That my entire thoughts on this matter, the wishlist thread is a whole different kettle of fish, it’s complete anarchy in there...

I did a play through yesterday for the achievement of a photo worth $100,000. i set the setting to light storm i believe. And after 2-3 mins it rained. hehe did it for the dramatic effect. I'm on PC though not on console. only thing left are the ingen database entries. particularly the memo's and characters :D

There's nothing about weather in the patch notes, so don't act like they promised that the patch would fix it. It'll come eventually, bug fixes take time. In all likelyhood, they wanted to spend their dev time on the Fallen Kingdom content, so they prioritized what they tried to fix to give them the time they needed to polish the DLC.

Need I quote the film? When they opened Disneyland in 1956, nothing worked.

Mines not rained once or any other form of weather no matter what settings

Well tbh I gathered that, but the patch notes aren’t really anything to write home about I have read them but I can’t remember if they did or didn’t say about the overview map Dino portrait things being changed, but they where, I guess I was hoping weather effects on Nublar would be an easy fix and be one of the things frontier compartmentalised into another fix on their patch notes

nah, that's something to expect as it's own line item in the patch notes. AFIAK, the weather control issue is probably a big fix that'll take a going over of the entire weather system.

Most people don't understand that most major bugs aren't easy to find. The easy ones, the typos and such, are usually automatically caught when you compile the code. Most other stuff looks right to the computer, and might even look right to the coder's eye, but just doesn't do what it's supposed to do. The real tricky bugs are straight out of chaos theory. You have a string of code that's seemingly unrelated to what you're looking at, and does it's own task just fine, but somehow inadvertently trips something that changes a variable that causes the bug you're looking for. The butterfly flaps it's wings in Peking... and it doesn't rain on Isla Nublar when you want it to, so to speak. These are the hardest bugs to find because they're not where you expect them to be.

They've completely revamped the Sandbox mode since then, and I'm sure they mentioned a fix to sandbox weather in patch notes a while ago. Have you tried starting a new sandbox game? Are you sure your game is up to date?
