Indeed, gravity can be measured. There is a legit point somewhere in here though. I think gravity in SC may be just a hypothesis (not a theory - a scientific theory is something different, clearly not what many think). Modelling star systems in an engine designed for arena map style play maybe wishful thinking.
Gravity in SC is more like a Mandela effect.

It's great that they didn't release a rushed game in 2014 as planned and held back to take all the time they need and raised all the extra money to put out this 2018 iteration of "0 tier" (aim at rock - hold down fire) mining and I for one can't wait for the 2022 update. It really shows how taking as much time as possible ensures fully feature rich game-play which will save PC gaming.
Gravity is a theory. You cannot measure it. We only assume it exists.
