CMDR Beetlejuice1686 reporting. As of the 21st, a crisis has been occuring in the Deciat System. We all know Deciat and our beloved engineer who lives there. Yet the system is in turmoil! Medical professionals are at a loss as to explain the current outbreaks the system is experiencing and multiple quarntines have been issued.
The Federal Government has put Bounds Lab's, Ray Beacon, and VanderMeer Lab's under strict quarntine due to outbreaks of unknown origins until further investigations conclude, while The Deciat Center for Disease Control and Prevention has issued statements advising all non-residents avoid the system until the quarntine has been lifted.
If you must visit, make sure to visit a medical center IMMEDIATELY if you experience any of the following: dizziness, nausea, loss of appetite, migraines, and/or nosebleeds, also be sure to take note if you experience them as well, as reduced cognitive function has been noted by medical professionals.
This news comes in just a single day after the Deciat Flag emerged victorious from their conflicts with the Deciat Blue Dragons. I've had a chance to sit down with some of the populace and get their thoughts on these occurances.
"The Blue dragons were doing nothing to enhance the lives of their citizens, sure the side affects can be a little bit of a pain, but I've seen more infected be cheerful, singing and dancing through the ports of the system" Said a local trader
"This is an outrage! The Deciat flag must be commiting some heinious experiments behind closed doors at these facilities meanwhile the federal government does nothing!" an inter-system bounty hunter told me.
I reached out to both the Deciat Flag and the Blue Dragons for statements as well.
The Deciat flag responded "We'd like to address these rumours that Deciat Fever has been spotted amongst the residents under quarntine. The reports of residents foaming from the mouth and dancing erratically are not to be belived. On an unrelated note, if you have to visit any of these stations, be advised to stay on your ships as much as possible while the stations undergo some minor, but critical repairs"
The Deciate Blue Dragons response was just as I expected it to be "We will not stand for this, people suffer while these criminals profit while commiting illegal experimention and that cannot be allowed to flourish in Deciat. We may not have had the funds to provide the newest upgrades for our stations. But we would never harm our citizens in this manner"
Conflict between the two parties is anticipated in the coming days, meanwhile I fear the outbreak will continue to spread, hopefully not beyond the system. I'll be sure to keep you updated
