Identified Signal Source

So I get that an Unidentified Signal Source is very mysterious and all that but CMDRs pass so many of them while flying around the bubble they lose their charm during the first day of play.

Then there’s the grind of finding specific signal sources like HGE’s and Ecoded...

So my suggestion is a simple quality of life adjustment. Make all the current signal sources pre-identified so we don’t have to waste time slowing down/course correcting as we travel.

Simply having our HUD notify us as we pass Ecoded/Degraded/Aftermath/High Grade would make traveling more interesting and the material grind less of a pain.

Unidentified Signal Source’s could be made much rarer and feature rare loot/encounters. They should be fun, mysterious and profitable.

Also just going to add why I never check USS: because it hijacks my destination in-system. Move USS to Contacts tab like Wakes.

Yep. Coming in on stations, signals pop up. Ignored, because targeting things screws with your deceleration, AND you detarget your destination.

Plus, it takes WAY TOO LONG to come in on stations/planets already.

It’s annoying because I was hoping that when FD said that Beyond was about improving the base game little improvements like this would be included.
I am looking forward to the explo/mining changes but I do hope at some point they take a month just to go back and apply a liberal layer of polish to the basic game.
