General / Off-Topic Star Trek Enterprise

Very nice work. The babylon5 ships and their flybys are very well done similar to the show. I'd always thought Foundation did some of the best spaceship battle scenes with their flyby and meaningful povs.

I kind of get the slapping on the D. Originally looks more of a curvy passenger cruiseliner. Too big of a primary saucer section with too many touristy windows. The D never got seriously damaged except for the poor reason and excuse to wreck it in Generations to make a new design.

My favorite of course was the Enterprise-refit.

They didn't keep that timeline, but still.

True, I'd forgotten about that episode. That last explosion bit in the video of the D was nice. I'd always wondered why they didn't use the Enterprise-refit ship and model in all those episodes featuring an older classic starfleet ship in TNG, DS9 instead of the (reliant)Miranda class ships. Then again, maybe it was for the better for Enterprise refit-fans since the "reliant"s kept getting used as exploding and wrecked federation ship fodder effects.

Hate the D.

Love the initial refit, and version /A.

I hear you, me too. Still classic and best ever Enterprise look to this day imo.

Agreed. Enterprise refit is a gorgeous looking ships. My favourite.

I've always liked this scene:

We get to see a the Enterprise A get a torpedo through the saucer...which happens to destroy the Ten Forward set from TNG.

I think the Original Movie/Wrath of Khan refit and the 'A' era is my preferred, as the bridge aesthetic actually feels to me like a warship vibe.

I'm a firm believer that the "1701-A" should have been a one-time deal. Ship number designations don't normally go up by letters just because you have the same ship name with a different class.

Technically, I would have been happy with NCC-2701, NCC-3701, NCC-4701 etc. You glorify the ship name, not the ID number.
