I could go on and on here!

Not all my favourites but ones that were huge when they came out.

In the arcades the ones that had either a queue to play or when you were playing a rugby scrum of teenagers trying to watch and shouting out "helpful" suggestions!

For the ones you played at home that nervous wait for the tape to load the game (Speccy 48K) looking at the screen and game cover at the same time.

God they were great days.

*sits looking nostalgically into space for the rest of the day*

I would have to add to the list: 90s that is...

Metal Gear Solid
Gran Turismo
Command & Conquer - Red Alert
Half Life
Final Fantasy VII

Personally I preferred Frontier:Elite II over FFE by a long way.

The other one that I personally really think needs mentioning is the Wipeout series especially Wip3out which was just amazing. I think that this set the standard for game sound tracks.

Sensible Soccer
Cannon Fodder
Speedball
Pinball Dreams

Yeah, silly me, I should have included FE2

Let's see now, in no particular order...

Elite
Revs
Frogger
Super Mario (on Gameboy)
Doom
FIFA Soccer (has to be played against a mate though)
Frontier Elite 2
Frontier First Encounters
Grand Prix 4

There's probably tons more, but the old memory ain't what it used to be, and is likely to get worse since I found a shop in London yesterday which sells Mount Gay Extra Old rum :p
