Most Entertaining things to do with sandbox mode on Isla Nublar

Hi guys, I'm nearing the end of campaign mode on Isla Sorna. Just gotta get the Entertainment missions done and the unlockables including the Indoraptor! But I'm also looking forward to Isla Nublar, which I still haven't yet touched!

What crazy things can be done with unlimited cash?

I've seen people do mazes for the dinosaurs, I've seen people do battle royales, true attempts at Site B style wild dinos. Anything else?

Attempts at a Site B won't work at least not until the game has had some proper updates of the AI, not just the hunting side of things.

Mazes, well, they are pointless too, I did one for a test and that's it, because to the AI, its not a maze, they find an exact path to their prey (predators of course) and everything else just becomes unhappy if it makes its way into there. Still, fun to build and watch, once.

You could build the 'ultimate park' but with space being tight and landscaping / creative tools / decorations being.... yeah, enjoy refilling feeders.

So that leaves.. battle royales, but even then, the same animations again and again, the same 'forced / scripted combat' where they get into position, pause, take turns...

So really, no idea... I can't think of anything fun to do in the game at the moment, hence I don't play it anymore, I just like popping in here to see if some news has hit yet. and perhaps post some random drivel ;) The forums can be more fun than the game.

LOL. FX2K is damn right. He basically summarizes all the major flaws of JWE in a single post. If Frontier roadmap addresses each of the issues above properly, I’m sure it will be one of the best games ever made.

For your inquiry, I haven’t started my Nublar yet but I might want to recreate J World and J Park. I’ve seen people doing them and posting them on Reddit. Their parks look absolutely gorgeous and the element of nostalgia is still there. I wish those are mine. Below are the interesting parks I mentioned.

On one I’m building the best zoo I can with what’s currently in game. Will be able to fit the current 48 easy. Leaving out the research buildings. 6 large power stations can fit neatly tucked away in that little cove. Once the carno hunting fix is in I’m gonna try a wildlife center again.

On the other I’m leaving mostly blank because a want to create a screenshot series “Scenes from the book” and recreate iconic scenes from the movies too as best I can.

The thing about sandbox is: the limits of the game are only half the equation, your own imagination is the other.

Sandbox is wasted on me. I'm not creative enough and end up getting frustrated after painting myself into a corner and having to start over.

It's Sand Box mode. You have no need to worry about guests, island rating, making profits or anything else. It's there for you to be creative. When I eventually get around to building on Nublar I am not going to concern myself with guests or anything. You could literally build your own Dinosaur zoo/JP and drive around in it with the ranger jeep using the 93 JP jeep skin or you could fly around.

Of course you could try and build a functioning park. But you just spent hours doing that across 5 islands.

Most entertaining thing to do on Isla Nublar is turn off the game and do something fun.

hahahahaha nice one... as for me, aside from JWE's issue with my graphics card, I am back to watching anime and playing dota 2 and heroes of the storm. :p the only thing fun about nublar is it looks pretty at night and at dusk (especially if the buildings and enclosures are built neatly side by side). then driving around seeing your dinos up close, but after that, meh...
