"Making open more attractive to solo/pg players" IS accommodation, by definition.

All the various threads before them, where people were screaming for open only content - despite Frontier saying no at the time.

Weird how you have such a short memory. Because some folks were kicking up a fuss, long before Sando ever said a word.

Doesn't change the information or my point - it wasn't Frontiers idea as you said it was, it was a "griefers" idea to force people in front of their guns.

Hmm so Jockey has the most posts... so what. Look how many times you've claimed things that Jockey had to prove to you were utter rubbish over and over and over again.... for some people even when they are proven wrong they can't take it and MUST be right. Doesn't that sound familiar 90's? I mean heck... how many times have you swore that FDev is going to do something and that you were going to "leave the game forever" if they didn't... only to get irked when FDev in their wisdom continued on THEIR path and not your self-serving one.... and we are still lucky to have your presence.

So I said to myself. As long as this continues to happen. Ill be there to show them what the devs really said. And not give new people old and outdated posts telling them its never going to happen.

Had to get mods on other platforms to step in a few times now, as he follows me about with the same tired cookie cutter insults and replies.

Though at least I know what it feels like to be famous, I now have sympathy for celebs having those crazed fans / trolls following them all the time.

That birthday line you threw out there sure boosted your popularity. Thats kind of what we were talking about. How for some reason them balancing the game like this ruined someones birthday.

And then I tagged in you the nomanssky subreddit to show they enabled multiplayer without framework for PVP. Framework Elite has. But No Mans Sky does not.

PVP in No Mans Sky is for legit griefing/pirating if you roleplay.

Elite though has powerplay. And that framework is all fueled by player interaction. Its made for PVP from the get go. Its in your wall of information if you go look.

But if everyone is in solo and private then powerplay doesnt work. Its had its chance to work that way.

Now embrace the changes and move on. Dont let something like this ruin your birthday for christs sake.

Yes but when someone takes those direct quotes and spins them like its never going to happen. Then gets all upset about it when they do straight out say it.

Only to turn around 2 weeks later and start telling people the same thing. Using kickstarter quotes instead of the updated ones?

They have been trying to push open forever. And anytime someone new showed up it was a small group of people that dog piled those threads. It happened to me when I first got here. And then I watched it happen, over and over and over again to new people.

Anytime someone brought up the whole picture, showing the whole quote instead of bits and pieces. Where Sandro says many times they are looking into giving open incentives for the risk and reward. They go crazy.

Michael Brooks quotes.(Hes a pretty cool dude but things are different than it was.)

Never anything about sandro wanting to do those things in a positive light.

Pretty disgusting to be honest. Its a huge reason focused feedback exists. And this is the first time I've seen something like Focused Feedback implemented like that.

You are right pretty disgusting, but if you want to talk about yourself *shrugs* who am I to argue. You of all people shouldn't claim others "spin" what the Devs say since you've been doing it since you started quoting them. heck you even attempt to spin anything Jockey says because you don't like being wrong. A major difference between you and Jockey, if Jockey is wrong he has admitted it and changed the Wall of Information to reflect correct information. You on the other hand pull out all the stops to prove yourself right no matter what. And who cares if he has nothing nice to say about Sandro. Hell at this point I don't believe anything Sandro says... not because of Jockey, but because of Sandro's own actions.

These forums never had to be like this. Especially when people, more than just myself. Come in with Video showing the imbalances in different ways.

The funniest thing out of all of it. Is most of the people against it. Self admittedly aren't even involved in it.

But okay.

Rebuys through missions, what this topic is about. When they finally push open only powerplay. They can properly address risk and reward. Making powerplay pay really well. People like those credits. Powerplay will work if it pays well. If it pays well then it will cause more people to play it. More understandable PVP thats not griefing.

So much good will come of this.

If I had the time I could go back and quote all the times you've "claimed" things would happen and that you would leave if they didn't come to pass... and then people asked why were you still here when they didn't come to pass I would lose out on the sleep I need. And Sandro's proposal isn't FDev's, and that was walked back too.

Simply give up. You will never be able to convince him of any wrongdoing. Like Ziggy said: its a waste of pixels. People like him are totally convinced that they CANT say anything wrong, and when reality proves them wrong they simply make up a headcanon to explain it away. Took me a while to learn that fact on reddit. Like they say: When you notice that you are riding a dead horse: dismount and to something more useful with your time. No amount of whip will get it going again.

You are aware of Frontier's previous aren't you? - you do have an idea of what 'not in the short or medium term' means when it comes from this studio don't you?

He was shown by myself that Sandro has previous for kicking the hornets nest then backing off once the fireworks start.

But it's like when we see "Frontier's plan for pvp" when in reality it has only ever been Sandro who pushes for pro pvp changes.
I even showed the live stream that had a dev laughing when asked about improvements to pvp and Ed had to tell them to stop laughing.

So not all of Frontier's staff are of the same opinion. As has been shown time and time again. They are just as split on the issue as the forums are, which would explain why nothing ever happens about it.
