Hi,
The first message states after visiting the Cone System, the Gnosis will head to The Rift. Is that the rift that is 10,000 ly from Sol? If so, will it be returning to somewhere near the bubble first, else everyone will have a long trip back?

Second ring, deck 2. Three bars and three casinos. Bring credits but watch out for some guy named Kirk. He keeps trying to get players to join him in a game of Fizbin.
I know, that's kinda weird given that Gnosis stocks refineries and limpet controllers.
Anyway, I'm using it as an excuse to finally check out the Orion Nebula. Supposedly the Visitors Center asteroid base is both scenic, and has mining lasers in stock.
The Gnosis can only travel 500 ly per week, so unless Canonn decides just out of spite to jump up (or down, but I think we'll be closer to up) to the top of the disk and make her way through extremely sparse and unscoopable star fields along her maximum jump range, your maximum (direct line) way back to the Bubble after she leaves the enclosed sector will be ~2500 ly (longer if you have to curve around the prohibited sectors).
Made it safely to Gnosis, in Open and without any of the problems that have been reported. Player contacts were popping in and out on my final run in, so I'm guessing FD were swapping us between instances. All of the pads were empty. Gained a handy 5m cr from the scanned data made on my trip here from Tau Ceti, and I'm now Friendly with Canonn already. Cool.

Here is a question/thought I do not think I yet saw in this thread.... given the timing of the new Chapter 3 release, and the Gnosis trip into permit locked space, anyone think there may be new exploration discoveries, introduced by Chapter 3 release, which will be central as part of this game path trip??
I find it funny that some ppl have brought fully decked out cutters and vettes but the trip back wont be short
Yes but i dont think you can hand in discoveries a certain distance from the drop off point in this case we will be confined to 4 systems

You can hand in carto data in Gnosis for those systems more than 20 Ly from where Gnosis is located at that point. Then Gnosis jumps 500Ly and you can hand in the rest .. rinse and repeat.
