I've never been wrong
And even with PP not coming in Q4 im still not wrong because this community doesnt understand the difference between priority and delay.
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA
You misspelled 'right'.

Which prediction has been fulfilled?
The prophecy has begun.
I'd like to leave the gentle reminder, Mobius stopped their BGS for a while because they couldnt defend either. But they also wouldnt go into open to see their attackers even though they had the chance....
Yes, I remember this. I applauded it at the time, although I had no interest in either party. It was good to see that a group operating in Open was able to defeat a group operating in a PG, because the usual refrain is "cowards hiding in PG / Solo and I can't do anything about it."
It goes to show that mode is irrelevant - those who employ the most effective tactics and numbers will win a BGS war.

Very relevant. It showed how relevant it really was actually.
So, a group in Open was able to win a BGS war with a group in a PG...without firing a single shot?
Do I have that about right?
Indeed, and the mobius group stopped because they couldnt figure out who it was. If they went into open they could have.
But because they were happy sticking to their mode. They called off all engagements what so ever.
The reason they stopped was because they got pounded and they didnt know who it was. When they actually had the chance no one else has. A mode everyone has access to for defending themselves. Open. And they never thought about using it.

All this tosh about staying true to the "Original idea" is ridicuous as well, things change, games change, open is the most widely used mode, the rest are split between the other two, which is fine. But Devs do tend to concentrate thier efforts in such a way that benifits the masses, not the minorities.
Moreover, FDev are going to understand, much better than anyone on here, that having everyone in the same galaxy with no division would be much better for the long term health of the game, and would most likely be the sensible option to progress.
Not necessarily - they might have been in a different PG.
But that's besides the point...you've just essentially admitted that it's possible to play the BGS successfully without PvP. Which was always the case and intent.
Did you forget which side you're supposed to be on?
.... and one Dev has indicated that Frontier are "well aware" that the majority of players don't get involved in PvP. Hence no need to lock any major content to Open.
Actually, I expect that they realised the folly of locking everyone in the same mode prior to publishing their game design - as it has included the three modes sharing a single galaxy state from the outset.
LOL, Im completely aware you can fight a BGS war without PVP.
As I've said, times change.
The amount of discourse over the matter alone is going to be enough to make them reconsider thier decision.
Don't get me wrong, I don't expect a single mode game, but it is logical, much like they are doing with powerplay, to at least halve the amount of influence gained/removed if its done within the confines of a PG or Solo.
Less risk, less reward.
Did I miss an announcement as to what Frontier *are* doing to PowerPlay? All we have so far are two Flash Topics regarding an investigation with no guarantee that anything will happen....
.... however we do have a definite statement from Sandro that PowerPlay is the *only* feature being considered for such a change - so that's something positive.

Remember when I said you guys only listen to what you want to hear. And not what they are telling you. I got a pretty good feeling this forum is about to learn a valuable lesson in the weeks to come.
