If he had not used "Sadly" then I might have come to the conclusion that the feature had been increased in priority - however, prefacing what came after with "Sadly" strongly suggests, to me at least, that it's neither going to arrive in the Q4 update (and Zac confirms that it was never stated that it would be part of the Q4 update) nor before.

.... and "may well feature" is not a confirmation of either inclusion in the game nor a timescale.

Now I too have made an assumption. The assumption being that Frontier wants to make Powerplay Open Only. But I think this is a pretty safe assumption. So if this quote was meant to mean, it's not coming in Q4, but in Q3, why is Zac sad about it? Wouldn't he have said: "Happily, I can tell you it's not coming in Q4" and add something like "but sooner than you may think". They'd be happy about it wouldn't you say?

The second quote you tell me "I mean he practically spells it out for you." while he really doesn't. He does not spell out anything is coming in Q3. And you agree it seems. The future could be 30 minutes from now. The extension to that is, the future could be 100 years from now.

So no, he does not spell anything out for anyone. And yes, I do reread everything.

Given that Zac was taking flak as soon as he posted the OP, I would expect that if there was any "good news" to share (for a soon-to-be-changed feature) then that thread would have been an ideal opportunity to let us know of it.

Im sorry but it really doesnt take much to say HERE IS A SAFE SPACE EVERYONE CAN JOIN.

Although he didnt do it out of spite to take objectives away from everyone else.

He did it for the new or basic PVE player that has no interest in other players objectives.

MCRN and OOM players did that on their own.

But he backs their play in doing it. WHich is wrong.

And at the same time, OOM for a while GAVE UP their BGS because they couldnt figure out who was attacking them. When the attackers were in OPEN PLAY the whole time. They had the chance everyone else doesnt have. And they were too stupid to realize they could go out and stop them because there are used to the safe space play over the years.

Again, its not that hard to create the thing he created.
