Greetings all!


Dust off those cameras, it’s time for a contract that would make Isaac Clement dance with joy in Dinosaur Director: Lights, Camarasaurus, Action!

Your extra special Entertainment Contract is to create a short movie of your park and the dinosaurs within it. We want to see your creativity flowing so be funny, dramatic, tell a story and above all, be as creative as you can be! We want your videos to show off your parks, and give the dinosaur attractions within their own personalities and stories. Make sure you have an idea in your head before you start so you can make it really clear in your video!


Rules


  • Submit a short video of your park that is no more than 2-3 minutes in length;
  • Must be recorded from in-game footage of your park;
  • Upload your entries to YouTube as public or unlisted and email the link to community@frontier.co.uk ;
  • Competition launches 18 September and ends Friday 19 October at 4PM BST;
  • You are responsible for licensing any copyrighted material such as music tracks that you use in your submission (should you choose to do so);
  • Objectionable or offensive content will be disqualified;
  • All entries must abide by the Jurassic World Evolution EULA and ToS;
  • An independent Frontier panel of developers and video artists will be judging based on creativity, originality and ingenuity; all Frontier employees are excluded from participating in the event.


Prizes

Winner: Elgato StreamDeck, Corsair and HyperX goodies, JWE pin badge, and Ian Malcolm Funko Pop figure!
Top 10 runners up: JWE pin badges and Frontier goodies.

This is awesome Bo. Question though regarding licensing

Is the Jurassic World / Park music allowed or would that be a breach of licensing as WE are making the video rather than yourselves?

That's great, happy to hear you're excited. The music in Jurassic World Evolution is fine for you to use, any other tracks from the Jurassic franchise must be checked for their availability as we do not own those tracks. Cheers!

Hey Bo! You said we could use JWE tracks, do you know where a complete list can be found. As I've only heard a select few via YouTube

next update

Hi bo or anyone one else but I have requests for update 1.5. I would like film dlc for jurassic park and lost world. Film skins for dinos and buildings. Take out current raptor skins and replace them with film. Make sounds from movies and not have frontier edited sounds like at flim tricearatops, parasarulophs, stegosuars, brachi, t-rex and spino, ankylosuars. Make cosmetic evolution such as ways to make the park feel more alive like trash cans and statutes. You get the idea. Baby dinos is a must and employee areas and gentle giants petting zoo. Here is way to add compys by making small houses for them. for natural disasters like volcano eruptions. outdoor attractions and aquatic and air dlc. Take out herbivore feeders. Guests can see thorugh fence and bathrooms. guests are excited when dinos do animations. park employees can die. more human and dino death animations. hunting ,herding ,social, flocking, grazing, herd protections and taunting and domince display alpha stuff. Building everywhere on island

I would suggest recording the music in game clips. I have noticed it seems xbox strips the title screen music which makes things a little tougher :D
