General / Off-Topic My Thrustmaster Hotas has gone back, faulty.

yes but what do you do? dance around it thrice on a tuesday, burn sage while chanting or sacrificing a goat?

For those who want to still try to use it while they wait to do all the PC app testing and screen shots... and get a reply from thrustmaster saying refund will be done once you CUT the cable and send photos of that ..

You go to YAW controll in controller settings of the hotas on ED
Press to expand the yaw controll axis then press yet another button to expand the DEAD ZONE display then You move the setting the Way over to the right and then SAVE...

The setting of yaw controll will then try to resist the Static generated by the Nylon Shaft pole that is discharging on to the wires that controll the yaw feed on the Stick that also go through the shaft to and from the base...
This is the intermittent yaw issue only... those Who have the Pot perminantly out of placement normaly can't override the pot is likely to far gone and no longer aligned correctly ...

Yes like every body else i expected the yaw controll to be done via A secondary shaft that was spinning a Pot at the base... not for the nylon static generating shaft to stay still and the pot to rotate inside the stick...
that I fixit tear down was an eye opener...

Key - pot = Potentiometer / variable resistor...
