Nice comparison to NMS where there are lots of systems, but all basically the same.
One of my worries with the explo changes in Q4 is people thinking that there will be lots of cool stuff in all systems, just need the DSS and Push To Win. I hope FD stick to ED's current model of having some stuff very rare so we don't end up in the 'all worlds are basically the same' bucket. We will see.

yet he praises elite for everything you see on the brochure but the game ultimately lacks. sounds a lot like paid advertisement to me. not good press for him in my book.
I can waste a lot of time listening to his podcasts. Always interesting stuff.
especially the ones with neil degrasse tyson.
To be fair, everyone who plays Elite has a lot of time to listen to various podcasts and youtube videos
My personal favorites are Arch Warhammer's lore videos about Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Fantasy However, I might try this guy out next as my go to "background noise" for the next expedition

I'll share an opinion after I've watched it, it's been on my watchlist since it came out. Last night I watched this (see below) and as you can see, didn't have time for anything else! lol. I doubt his inaccurately bigging up the game without playing it is going to cause me to change my overall opinion of him. After all I never stepped into the octagon, yet I still talk about it sometimes, cos I'm a fight fan. I can hold my own in any discussion with other fans, but when you've lived it for years, it's something else. I bet I would sound ridiculously clueless to him, just like he does speaking of Elite, to us.
