Went to the shop yesterday to check my bank balance.

Decided to get a bottle of cola while I was there.

Went up to the checkout and noticed the automatic doors kept opening. The lady at the till had a look and said there was a cat sitting at the entrance...

MY CAT!

The cheeky sod had followed me to the shop and was just sitting at the doors, waiting for me to come out.

And then on the way home we came face-to-face with a badger.

I love cats. Wonderful creatures. I grew up with them.

I used to have a cat who understood the concept of hide and seek.

You cat was probably just curious about your hunting grounds, considering all the food you're always coming back with.

Badges, though... if they're not in the mood, they can be quite nasty for pets.

We had one called Splodge back in the late 70s early 80s, he was massive and liked attacking the local dogs who used to drag their owners across the road when they got near our house.

He would wait for me at the end of the road after school and follow me home along the garden walls.

Yeah I had to stop at the badger. I've seen their teeth & claws, and Splodge is just about brazen enough to start a fight anyway.

I had my current cat when he was 3 months old. Now he's one year and a half.

For me it's a Cat-Dog.

He follows me everywhere in the garden. He often obeys me.

If I sit 2 hours in the garden, he stays next to me during 2 hours. If I constantly move in the garden to work, he follows me where I go.

And if I throw him a ball, he brings it back to my feet.

At every Tesco store I've worked in, we've had a ginger tom cat just decide to move in.

Even in the news, you see ginger tom cats at Tescos elsewhere.

I love cats.

Anyone who complains should just be banned from Tesco. Cats are far cleaner than most of the people I see around here.

To be honest, rats are far cleaner than most of the people I see around here too ...
