Dinosaurs Dilophosaurus venom

Your Feature Request / Idea
When the dilo spits, it does not affect the dinosaur's health that it comes into contact with. The venom of the dilo should at least bring down the dino's health to at least 50% or the health bar of smaller herbivores/carnivore drops rapidly to zero.

Actually, I think Dilo's venom should work somewhat like tranquilizing dart or, better still, desorientating it's victim completely. It is said both in the novel and the film that the main effect is blindness. Desorientating and making the animal defenseless would suffice. The Dilo still would need to finish the victim off.

But the blindness comes from contact with the eyes, right? Therefore it spits at the eyes... I don't think the venom is poisonous, if you just get it on you. If it gets in your bloodstream it could lead to paralyzes, but that would be during a bite I believe. Snake poison is not venomous if you just get it on your skin either. So it makes sense...

After thinking about it, I think the blindness should occur when the dilo does its finishing move on the raptors, galli's, and maybe the large herbivore instead of the pounce and kill.
