PvP Starter Pointers/Guide?

I am looking for a comprehensive "noob guide" for PvP in this game.

The guide (website?, post?) should/could cover

* Recommended weapon loadouts, utility modules, armour etc. for ships...*IN PARTICULAR* for the Anaconda

* A noob beginner guide to shooting, such as how to use the cycle next sub-system feature to effectively take out particular sub-systems rather than just retardedly shooting without a real plan WHAT to shoot ...

* Smart maneuvering in PvP (strafe etc.)

* Most importantly: PLACES TO GO in E: D where PvP is happening. I only have very sporadic, incomplete information about things like the "distress signal", freeport...from reading around on the web...but I am still not sure where to actually go and how PvP actually "works" in the game

* Other tips for PvP and surviving against other players :)

If such a guide exists it would be great if someone can point me to it.

As far as I know a comprehensive guide such as you describe does not *yet* exist. One nice resource is You Tube videos. I picked up a clue or 2 there.

Just curious why *IN PARTICULAR* the Anaconda? That's hardly the first ship a noob will be fighting in?

An ever increasing circle of grief

Here is my entirely cynical guide to pVp in ED.

step one, try to earn enough credits to buy a decent ship and load out.

step two, get frustrated being ganked by tooled up commanders.

step three, hide in solo mode until enough credits are earned to buy a decent ship and loadout.

step four, re-enter noob ganking paradise and revisit you noob grief experience on others.

moral: (know thy enemy better than they know themselves)

I must be an exception then.

FACT: It is rather easy to grind 10M in this game and get an Anaconda fully loaded out.

However, getting an Anaconda does not automatically come with the knowledge to do PvP effectively. Armour types, weapons etc.

Others: NOT INTERESTED IN UNCONSTRUCTIVE "PvP vs. PVE" COMMENTS, this is not the subject of this thread. Thank You!

That time of day already?

Will grab a chair and await the PvP vs PvE arguments to start...

YOU just started them. We have 900 other threads on this...

PvP/piracy is a legit playstyle in this game and a starter guide is justified. How to PvP in this game is not exactly made obvious.

For example, there is a huge difference in recommended ship loadouts against NPCs and players..this is just one point.

Besides...in an Anaconda you will sooner or later want PvP since most NPCs simply run away before you can get a shot off....true.
