Why we can not believe you ?
Some of FD's trailers use cinematics and should be taken with a pinch of salt, this one was in-game footage (we saw this stuff on our visit to Frontier a few weeks back) so I think you should allow yourself a modicum of excitement!

FD has been using in-game footage - yes, even space legs are in game, doesn't mean they are available to us - for years now.
So it is pretty much what you see is what you get.
I forgot to quote the orginal... which was talking about the new ships... and pointing out that it was plural.
Week 1 = 1
Week 2 = 2
Week 3 = 3
Week 4 = 4
Therefore 4 complete weeks = 1 month (and before you say it I know some have 5)

OA seemed to think it was the latter, providing an empty week at the end for beta. His wording sounded specific so he may have confirmed with Frontier.
I guess rouglhy tested, that's why we're gonna have a public beta.
VR compatibility was asked during the livestream with Adam. He said he's mostly confident it will work fine in VR as well but he needed to double check this. I'm playing in VR only so I will deeply test it for sure.
It's a fence posts and panels problem.

Take a long hard look at the Beyond screenshot, maybe it opens to you also.
I'll stop holding my breath for the smuggling update I was waitingfor, it seems C+P was supposed to be it. Ho-hum.
I guess I'll just hope the Panther Clipper is coming along as we've hoped so there's something fun. Squadrons are an interesting idea, but I'd prefer to be able to profess allegiance with a minor faction personally.
Still, maybe it'll be more interesting than I'm aware. Time will tell. I'm just not gonna get my hopes up like I did for Q1.

You can create your 1 person squadron just for yourself, and then make the 1 pilot squadron pledge allegiance to that minor faction. Done! you did that personally.
It seems that everyone will be able to create 1 squadron, and you will be able to join several squadrons apart from yours, so no problem in there.
Usual deal... No talky talky until they do the releasey releasey thing (eg livestreams etc).... Plus (@T.j) it's far more fun to know stuff and tease people with hints
