PvP Pacifiers. Double shot or overcharged?

Which is better for pvp? I know that double shot will deal more dps, but it burns through ammo so damn quickly. I'm asking because i've modded two for doubleshot with screening shell on my vulture, and i had to awkwardly synthesize ammo mid fight, and i'm wondering if modding for overcharged instead would help with the ammo issue
 
I'm running a Pacifier Vulture too. Go for OC G5, incendiary and drag ammo, or straight oversized.
But ammo issues are only countered by full hits. So go in close, and give 'em the hug of death :D

Yes.
That said, OC has higher DPS than double shot.
For a single pacifier, it's ~ 367:326.

Overcharged is the way to go, but IMO plasma is better on a vulture. That sweet absolute damage. Tried APAs and they just don't do enough damage for my liking. Regular plasma is the way to go.
 
Back in the day, doubleshot screening was enough. Hull values have gone up in pvp so now it’s no longer quite enough ammo on its own. That said, with some trigger discipline, DS screening doesn’t run out THAT quick.
