News Beyond - Chapter Four - Beta Announcement

Bad enough waiting for tomorrow...even worse waiting for the 30th :(

*Sulk...and again*

I'm just glad that tomorrow we FINALLY get to see the new exploration mechanics in action. At Long Last!!!!

Still, the one day wait is unbearable, and I feel that Frontier should take pity on us and throw us a sneak peak bone today. :)

Okay, let us make this the lesson of today: not everyone is like you. Other people are different from you, and some might like different things than you. So when you go frowny face, others may go smiley face. That is okay, it is just how things are.

Can we now get back to 3.3? If you need more explanation of the above lesson, or want to moan some more about your frowny face, feel welcome to start a new topic. Preferably on reddit. :)

well yea i mean you are right, if beating yourself with a stick full of nails is what you like then you're technically right. but a lot of people complained about the Gnosis... a lot, so that would make you the minority that enjoyed the Gnosis Failure. Besides my main point is that the Gnosis was a fiasco, and some people are trying to mislead people with lies and whatnot. So the lesson that i have for you is this: Just because its you like it doesn't mean that you have to lie to everybody and pretend that Frontier failure didn't happen.

Listening to talkers makes me thirsty and hungry

I was plenty irritated the day Gnosis "went down", and for a few days after, but now it's water under the bridge for me. I've also seen evidence that Frontier learned from the experience. Even if people are still holding a grudge after all this time, I really am not sure what an in-game event has to do with the 3.3 update..

#RememberSalomé? No? Huh...

Now Frontier better #RememberElephantButtLeather and #RememberConsoleCrashInSRV and #RememberAllTheOtherBugsThatHaveGoneUnfixedForMonths since this indeed can make or break the new update.

its a "your reputation presides you" kinda situation. i mean how many ps4 bugs have not been fixed since they console release?

Indeed.

I dont think you know what 'a majority' is. It isnt 'a lot'. Anyway, getting so upset about something in a game that is both irrelevant and in the past to the point you randomly start calling people liars for just saying they had fun is a little bit over the top. Considering you clearly cant let it go I'll give you the final word while I'll talk about 3.3

Which is shaping up to be a pretty cool patch! :)

You know, seeing how tomorrow's stream covers exploration, lighting, and the codex, that's a LOT for a one hour stream. I hope they go well over one hour and show us plenty.

Alternatively, shown us a bit today to lessen the load on tomorrow's stream! :D

Focused Feedback streams went well over 1 hour, so if they content to share I doubt they will cut it short :) Question though if Ed has gotten keys to not get locked in by security at evening.

Or if they dispensed with all the dithering they could probably get through it in less than an hour.

so your definition of fun is getting blown up without a chance of a semi fair fight?? boy you guys are weird

It must be for some - my forays into Open have always ended in my trade ship (without guns) being blown up by someone who thought big guns were the answer to everything... Some folk's idea of fun is weird...

Semi-fair fight? The pilot in the video had already had his ship shut down while in the hangar, he surely understood the risk before pressing the launch button and was prepared to take it, didn't that cross your mind when you watched it or was it only me?

oh yea the alternative was to stay docked. quality game play right there. the fact that the ship could be shut down inside the hangar by the (TSDF) only proves my point even further of frontier Failure.

I'm not sure you understand how live-streaming works ;)

Should be a good one, though as you say it is a lot to get through so then we'll have a week of misunderstandings before we get the beta - that should be fun ...
