I think there's a certain irony in that one thing that really breaks MY immershun.
It's that forced 10 second delay when you swap out a weapon.
Sat there trying to sort a loadout and the game's like:
"STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING CMDR!"...
"NOW WAIT"...
"WATCH THIS REALISM THING, WATCH IT!"...
<10 seconds later>
"OK CARRY ON, DON'T YOU FEEL IMMERSED CMDR!!!"
"NOW WAIT"...

Great - now you've gone and revealed another internal inconsistency in this game to me.... Immersion need not be realistic (I was very immersed as I fought dragons across Skyrim), but internal consistency would be nice. I've always "pretended" that my ships have artificial gravity, so now I guess I have to imagine these bases do as well
I dont think it is flat-out impossible to live on a 4G planet. Its certainly not healthy, and it wont do your life expectancy any good, but with proper preparation it should work to some extent. Makes those 'deliver 100 slaves to that dictator running a mining colony on a 3G planet' all the more grim...

It's a hyper-detailed survival game that has pooping.
This is too much character management for my liking but it's out there for those so inclined. Or reclined, or whatever position they may employ for their business.

Probes are like ammo (it's a physicall projectile). If we have to buy/sythesize ammo (and limpets) then we have to do the same with probes. Ah and it also makes sense... but that's not a good argument within this community. Well, just try to be consistent and stick to one or the other.
Or we make a fun game, and leave the consistency for work.
just as soon as you provide a solution to the non-horizons players who DO NOT have access to surface landings.
I advocate Old Duck's plan of calling them "pings". We send that idea back in time to the devs, and avoid the entire thing.

A huge waste of electricity.
I know what you're referring too, and let me tell you I don't care how much is used if you're actually sat in front of your system and using it for something. I respect leaving it for downloads/updates too.
What I don't like is the numpties who leave their system on all night just to lower a number value in a game. That is unnecessary waste.

I am still in favor of delays mind you, but I did not expect the long distance transport prices to still be astronomical. They initially told us that with a delay the transport price would be low.
As a result of the current system I never use long distance ship transport. I think there should be a limit to the transport price.
Just razzing you lightly cause it's possible, nothing further. I'm actually glad you're still here and didn't run off to join a Luddite cult or anything. o7

Careful, you'll exhaust your supply. Posts are ammo, and they need to be either restocked at a station or synthesized from common materials
