Yeah, I'm really not that keen on either system.
The current system is obviously way too simplistic but the new one seems to be all about systematically looking at one thing after another and I'm not keen on that either.

I'd prefer it if there was an instantaneous way of locating things that are visually interesting, for those who just like to look at cool stuff, and then an entirely separate procedure for locating things that are either significant or financially rewarding.

Perhaps there could be some kind of "multispectral scanner" that could detect everything within a system (resources, POIs, USSs etc) and then you'd twiddle it to tune into a specific thing and then follow it around to locate the source of the signal and then launch probes (when required) in order to pinpoint the location of the POI?

I think we need a Frontier Forum Poll that more detailed, not a Poll made by a youtube that talks about 5 to 10 space games. It likes having an Election in one country and having 5 to 10 different countries also vote for that election.

Forum polls are no longer a 'thing' I'm afraid.

If FD want they will find another way to poll the community, but forum polls won't be it.

Well in a weeks time we'll certainly have more idea of the workings via the Beta. That's when we can make far more I formed suggestions surely?

I agree with that 100%. I just pointing out the flaw of a youtube poll that talks about other space sims.

I also agree with that. 6 More days.

But the topic with so many pages and almost 1,150 posts. Tells us a lot already. We are Divided.
