So the BSG reboot had a rough start (Boxie!) and a sloppy ending, but The Expanse is a show practically without a weakness. The source materiel is why. The books are deep and wide. Can't wait for Tiamat's Wrath.

Well, except for SyFy cancelling them after the 3rd season, but Amazon to the rescue.

Eh, I wouldn't go that far. Entertaining, sure. But the author definitely has a limited imagination. Not to spoil anything, but I was disappointed about how he imagined and resolved some of the more non-human stuff. It always fell back to some human-relatable level.
