Of course the games matters. That's why the PSX Classic isn't what we all hoped for.
The NES and SNES classic both had games that defined their generations more or less, which made the classic versions both cool and highly enjoyable.
As it stands now, the PSX Classic is underwhelming.

Same with Castlevania Symphony of the Night... It's one of the most recognisable title from that era, and it isn't included.
