I know we're all excited about chapter 4 but how about that "Premium Content"?

In the Important Community Update quite a large bucket of cold water was dumped on expectations as to what the Premium Content that would be free to LEPers could be.

However in the section quoted below Zac reaffirmed that they would be delivering something.

We truly appreciate the support and commitment that those owners put in us when they purchased the LEP and we will be making sure that there is a form of free store content going out to them by the end of this year.

I think it's time for some confirmation as to what it will be, if it will be available to players who didn't stump up for a LEP and what price it will be if it is available to all players.

Time is getting on FD and you now have less than eight weeks to deliver on your commitment or issue a statement confirming that for whatever reasons the Premium Content is delayed or just not happening. If it is the latter I suggest that you come clean ASAP while there is all this goodwill surrounding chapter 4.

They did issue a statement, rather specifically stating there WILL be new premium content, that it DID enter active production some time ago, and will be available at a point well after Beyond is finished and the bug fixes settle. This is old news already.

There is no Premium Content this year now, it says so in the post you quoted from Zac Antonaci. They have no commitment to deliver on it anymore.

I dont expect to find out until after 3.3/Q4 has been released.

How so? People who divvied up for the LEP are entitled to have their agreement delivered.

The LEP, to my knowledge, delivers content, paid to non-LEPs and free to those with LEP.

Remember, without the LEPs there would be no Elite Dangerous! It's seems a bit flippant to me for you to state! that they have no commitment to deliver now. Do you know something we don't ?

They have no commitment to deliver the Premium Content for this year since they've told us they decided to focus more time on the next era of Elite. Why would they still have a commitment to deliver something they've now said has been cancelled?

LEP owners will still get every other paid update for free, ie. the next era of Elite. But there's none for this year now.

In the announcement of this years releases, it was stated, that there would be 'Premium Content' for LEP owners this year.

That was a commitment, which they [FDev] have decided to not fulfill. The reasons (although I understand them) are irrelevant. You either produce what you stated you will produce or not. In this case, not.

I think that it's pretty reasonable that there is residual irritation at the manner in which FDev has badly mishandled the LEP issue this year.

From an announcement late 2017 by Zac clearly stating premium content was coming in 2018 that would be 'free' (or prepaid if you prefer) for LEP owners, it then took over ten months, with many quite long and heated forum threads, for FDev to finally admit in a post chock full of padding and waffle that there was nothing coming for 2018, but that LEP owners would get
