I'm making a return to the Xbox scene with a new and shiny One X... due to a certain very popular cowboy game... I also won't feel as guilty posting in here now either. I can't see me going back to E-D on the one X though...I like my Voice Attack, 56 button HOTAS and blue HUD too much for that

Ive only relatively recently upgraded to an X bout 6 weeks ago...the old oneS had been a hard worker and performed admirably, but once ye try the same game in a oneX, ye wont fully appreciate the benefits. I have both now so if I ever had cause to doubt, I can remind meself why I could justify the cost...in which I would include the cost of the big 4k presumably TV. Normal people dont spend the guts of a grand to watch emmerdale and late night adult stuff only 24 hours a day which is handy...haha handy...moving on...
I played this game fer a year on PC and a year and half roughly on a oneS, so I have what I think is a very multi platform experience of how this game plays...and in general how games play rdr2 not withstanding. Im utterly addicted...Im a 47 yr old father of a developing young mind that may one day rule the galaxy if shes anything half as good as her old man. Its got so bad, my cleaning lady...actually no shes not a lady, my cleaning girl claims she cant get her other jobs done after an hour breathing in the smoke of what Im on atm.
Ah the naive minds of the younger generation...shes paid to make me feel better by doing the stuff I have issues with around the house. I guess she hasnt really seen that many people living with chronic depression before, she thinks this is rock bottom...haha oh no this is not rock bottom this is shameless addiction.
RDR2 really is that good btw and so much more...almost dont wanna give spoilers to those who havent played but Im weak willed and prone to rambling at the best of times. Ive spent entire 5 and 6 hour sessions just messing around, barely making any game progress cos the whole world around me it literally filled with details. The one where when ye point a gun in the blind mans face and he doesent react because hes genuinely blind and telling the truth...try doing that to someone who isnt blind and see what happens. Its the little details like that and this game is jam packed with them that has me hooked...Ive had my throat ripped out by a pet dog after I robbed his owners house and killed its master...didnt see that comin haha...
Spaceships are different ergo why still here, but down to just browsing mostly...Ive lost me ED mojo, fer the mo...ment...here in spirit if not in person. Good to see ye back to gaming with the peasants and poor simple folks again...ye dont really belong in the master race...ye know ye dont ye cant let go of this place ye never did. See how good I am? I should charge money fer advice this good ^
