So now that we know what this DLC is, what do you think the next ones will be?

Never too early to start speculating, right?

I'm going to go ahead and try to deduce a pattern from the one data point we currently have, and guess that the next handful of DLCs are going to be continuations of the story like Wu's abominations Secrets. There will be one for most if not all of the characters, and they will range in price dependent on content.

$10- Dr. Kajal's Experiments: 1 new map (sorna), science division based storyline, 2 new dinosaurs (herrarasaurus, ingentia), 1 new hybrid (ingentiastego?), 1 new building (small dinosaur house)
$15- Claire Dearing's Personal Assistant: 2 new maps (matanceros, tacano), new storyline, 3 new dinosaurs (iguanodon, protoceratops, albertasaurus), 2 new hybrids (paradeinonychus, pachyceratops), 1 new building (botanical garden/greenhouse)
$10- Isaac Clement's Ambitions: 1 new map (matanceros), entertainment based storyline, 2 new dinosaurs (amargasaurus, ouranosaurus), 1 new hybrid (amargaspinus), 1 new building (roller coaster)
$15- Owen Grady's Place in the Food Chain: 2 new maps (muerta, nublar), new storyline, 3 new dinosaurs (oviraptor, utahraptor, charcharodontosaurus), 2 new hybrids (lycaraptor, ultimasaurus) 1 new building (private bungalow)
$10- George Lambert's Orders: 1 new map (pena), security based storyline, 2 new dinosaurs (ornitholestes, acrocanthosaurus), 1 new hybrid (carnoraptor), 1 new building (viewing dome)
$20- Revelations of Dr. Malcolm: huge "final" expansion- 3 new maps (nublar, sorna, pena), final storyline (wraps up with confrontation with Dr. Wu on Pena), 5 new dinosaurs, (argentinosaurus... I don't know, running out of ideas), 3 new hybrids, 3 new buildings

Cabot Finch doesn't get one, hopefully.

I think this story expansion DLC is a one off, and following stuff will be more like dino packs.

I think something the fandom would appreciate most would be a Classics DLC, a set including the missing JPOG dinosaurs, Jurassic Park skins for buildings and a large map. Coinciding with stuff like sand brushes in a free update. This would make ALL the money.

Enough of new hybrids. Those who like it should take advantage of this current DLC.

Hopefully they work on other maps, improvements in the scenery, foliage, vegetation types and skins of the first three films.

If add more dinosaurs, I hope they are not hybrids.

*Wishful thinking*

No more hybrids.
No more dinosaurs (for now).

1. TERRAIN TOOL UPDATES.
2. DIVERSE CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS.
3. LARGER MAPS.
4. DEEPER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.

I would like to see a DLC that gives us some original JP themed buildings. Like a visitor center to replace the innovation center. Maybe give some of the other buildings that same kind of look and theme. But all I really need is a visitor center.

But I have been thinking about it and I thought that Universal wouldn't let FD do it cause it's obvious they want JW to be in the spotlight but we do have the JP jeep in the game. That would look really good sitting outside of a HD JWE visitor center. It doesn't even need to be an exact replica, just something pretty close to it. The islands in the game fit the part, now we just need a visitor center.

I'd personally kinda prefer this to be the only story DLC. Here's what I'm hoping for in the future:

DLC #2: Expanded terrain tools, Rowboats to ride canals + Dino Pack - Ouranosaurus, Dryosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Albertosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, Rugops

DLC #3: More buildings and decorations/cosmetics, Map generator + Dino pack - Protoceratops, Iguanodon, Therizinosaurus, Cryolophosaurus, Tarbosaurus, Utahraptor

DLC #4: Aquatic Reptiles and Attractions + Dino Pack - Argentinosaurus, Shangtungosaurus, Ornitholestes, Herrerasaurus, Coelophysis

DLC #5: Avian Reptiles and Attractions + Dino Pack - Massospondylus, Sauroposeidon, Guanlong, Megalosaurus, Oxalaia(opportunity to present close to a realistic Spinosaurus)

Most of those things should come as free updates, not paid DLC.

And I'm not honestly "thrilled" about the hybrids, but they seem to be a thing across JW IPs, so I don't think we've seen the end of them. I just tried to pick out mostly logical ones I wouldn't mind seeing.

I do want more dinosaurs though; with planning there is more than enough space for all current dinosaurs on Nublar, and right now I'm trying to pack them all into matanceros (much harder due to non-infinite life-spans).

Why do people think Frontier should work for free?

The shouldn't work for free, and I am excited to pay for everything they produce for this game because building Jurassic parks has been my lifelong obsession and now that JWE is here the screams in my head have calmed down.

But I do feel that fundamental changes to the game's engine (reworking landscape systems most notably) would logically come as a universal update.rather than a paid DLC.

Speculation on the next DLC pack? ...what's the point? It could be literally anything...

I know one thing for sure! No matter what it is, there will be complaining... lots and lots of complaining...

My own philosophy on this:

If additions are updates to existing content (such as AI changes such herding and sleeping), it should be with free updates.

If additions are of new content (new species, maps, research, etc), then it should be paid DLC.

That being said, I don't mind frontier offering content for free, and I don't mind paying a few bucks for new content so long as it is just that.

Agreed.
I myself don’t mind the al-a-cart type of DLC. In fact, I’d rather smaller, paid, dlc than huge ones loaded with stuff I may not want...right now.
I could totally go along with $5 Dino packs. $5-$10 building packs.
Don’t force me to spend $20 on a huge pack of Dino’s and one or two buildings.
Fixes/improvements=free.
Additions=paid.
The devs still need to put food on the table. They gotta pay for the same electricity we do.
