How's this for a new PvP tactic for those of us who completely suck at it?
Self Destruct Logging, or SDL.
When you know you are just flat going to lose, just pop over to the right panel and hit the Self Destruct button. That way you can rob your attacker of their glorious content while not having to log out of the game in any sort of way.
Actually I came up with this tonight while waiting to pop under fire. It appears that I just suck at PvP no matter how hard I try, or which tactic I try (fight or run), or which ship I try it in, or whatever. So the last fight I was in tonite I decided to throw in the towel, X my throttle and wait to pop. I'm done with it. This tactic appeared to confuse my adversary for a few seconds but the death blow was finally dealt.
So from now on whenever I get interdicted, or fired upon, by another player I will just hunt for the SD button. LOL.
Spending 20hrs a day flying to "git gud" just isn't an option.
For the record, I will continue to fly in Open and accept any and all encounters, preferably with an o7 or a howdy.
OK, little rant over. Thanks for your time.
