I'm seriously surprised these didnt make the list. Both can have multi crew, but can be piloted by one and can fit in the slot.
Yeah, but the ship could still be translated to ED, with a FSD fitted. Also, I can't believe no one pointed this out yet, but Serenity has no FTL drive. Nothing in that universe does, as the tech was never developed. The 'Verse is one very large trinary (or larger) solar system, which all ships navigate at sublight speeds. Humanity got there in a fleet of sleeper or generation ships.
The Serenity is meant to be an awful ship.
I laughed out loud at the flashback when he reveals he bought it and the response is, "On purpose?"![]()
We are going to need something to use on or under the water when we finally get to land on waterworlds. Not sure if this counts but I'm suggesting it anyway....
I got a link to this from one of those clickbait websites and it'd make the perfect flying companion to the SRV.

Nell from Battle Beyond the Stars. Everyone needs a spaceship with bo obs.
Gunstar One from The Last Starfighter.
booooooo!Nice ship, great movie, but it takes two to pilot, one pilot and one gunner and no cargo capacity as it is a pure fighter. Sorry![]()
The Terran Katana from X, maybe?
Only thing Im iffy about is maybe the FTL

How about this one... it was featured in a recent TV space show. Can be piloted by one guy, have a (small) cargo capacity, and an excellent canopy view. I'm not sure about the FSD though...
